Long story short: I worked towards a career as a scientist for a bit, 'till I followed a comet out to a lake one night. It was a mysterious device that attatched to my chest, and now occasionally I get cryptic visions of Deoxys themselves in my sleep, mwehehe!
You may be wondering, why me of all people? Does this make me a "chosen"? Does Deoxys have some plan for me? Do they even have a sense of morality???? I HAVE NO IDEA!
BUT, either way I can see the responsibility that has been entrusted upon me!! I just still need to get the hang of my abilities. And uh, try to get out more. :/
Those abilities, by the way! I seem to be able to modify my own DNA, no idea how far I can take that and I've got some trouble controlling it, for now I just keep it to temporarily emulating Pokemon types. That's right, I can have types, and with this little raygun of my own design, I can fight like a Pokemon! >:)
Sometimes! If I can figure out how to do it without almost frying myself! It can get icky. But I invented beads that change color with my typing, which I'D call a win!!

Angelo (Gallade ♂, has mega stone). My ace! My co-captain! My partner through thick and thin!
Fangzie (Flygon ♂). Gets flying zoomies a lot, I'm one of the few trainers who can keep up with him ^_^
Cadet (Dhelmise). Soothing and creaky! Strong but sleepy! Doesn't try that hard, to be frank, but we're working on it.
Crimzon (Scizor ♀). Don't touch her wings or she'll chop your arm off! Nah not really. But sometimes she'll glare at you like she will.
Zee (Zangoose ♀). Really cuddly for a Zangoose's reputation! Much softer fur than what she looks like.
That's my usual team! Some others who sometimes join the fray:
Mercy (Audino ♂). The sole reason I'm not in medical debt! More of a lover than a fighter.
Vega (Starmie). A timid little guy. I keep hoping it could teach me more about space and maybe my own patron one day, but well. I imagine not having a mouth or hands gets in the way.
Soul (Solrock). A strange little guy, seems content just spinning around in the corner of the room a lot of the time.
Valkyrie / Val Jr (Unown 守). A rare variant recently adopted from the Unown Sanctuary! Chivalrous and a bit of a tsundere (with lack of a better term). Mostly just a travel companion whenever Zee wouldn't fit the situation, but that doesn't mean they can't hold their own in a fight!

I also run @silver-crowned-riders and @rocket-researcher-antares, this time around I wanted to make a less villainous character who could at least go to normal events and wouldn't hate every other user lol.
Tried to give an in-character explanation for why someone like this isn't super out and about since I'm still relatively new to pkmn irl and bc of other issues (& general confusion a lot of the time 😭) I might not participate in much high stakes as of now.
Val uses lots of gifs! I'll give alt descs when I can and will tag flashing and eyestrain for potentially harsher ones, if there's a better way to tag things lmk! ✌

A very popular moveset for people with Lopunny companions featured the move Return, which is most powerful at high friendship with their trainer. Look up "popular league movesets lopunny" (or really any normal type that can learn the move). There's plenty of videos of people with their Pokemon using Return as well.
Not true. Not in really any movesets besides bunearys, and if you manage to evolve them into a lopunny by the point it would learn that, it learns return instead.
Not even counting pokemon like ditto or unown who can't learn frustration or return at all.
And finally, if pokemon naturally learned frustration because they hated humans, it wouldn't help them at all because frustration and return is empowered by the type of bond it shares with its trainer.
If a pokemon somehow learned frustration or return without a trainer, it would instead use the power of its current happiness, meaning if they were miserable and used the power of their "hate" towards humans, it would be the weakest move they could possibly use with a base power of one. For reference, scratch has 39 more base power than that.

You know you can build convoluted fake control panels and machinery at home? Like those escape room props that need you to solve a puzzle to know what switches to flip to illuminate some random vaguely scientific looking tube with some LEDs before opening a secret panel. You can just build those assuming you have the tools and space. Beyond those factors nothing is actually stopping you. Elaborate stim toys or a new way to inject whimsy into putting away important.
I save techy looking stuff on pinterest to show Lissie during our downtime and I started getting recommended a bunch of them. Halloween is finally giving us an excuse to make some of them. Unclear exactly what we are doing with them after. Maybe we will turn a guest room into a fake lab purely for the hell of it.
