soo itās been a while since i posted anything originalā¦ sorry about that! i broke up for summer last week, but i ended up finishing school a little early because my brother got covid and we had to isolate. itās been a bit of a stressful time and iāve been kind of struggling with being productive, but i think iām slowly getting myself together

very much obsessed with the desk set up I have in my dorm! the laptop stand has been an absolute lifesaver for my neck and I donāt have to hunch over and type all the time! also the led clock has to be one of my favourite impulse buys ā no regrets š¤

i love old architecture and the university of torontoās campus feeds my love. itās absolutely gorgeous to study in the grass next to brick buildings such as these.

the thing about british weather is that it is so unpredictable. so it genuinely is hard to generalise. right now? itās very hot and quite humid and the other thing about british weather when itās hot is that generally there is no breeze so thatās always horrible cause the heat just kinda sits there and there is never any escapeĀ

found an ancient relic in the library today
a few days ago i cycled home through the first thunderstorm of the year. it always feels like a special occasion to me: it's the starting shot of the summer that is approaching, slowly but surely wrapping up the academic year, and if not more free days, then at least the promise of spending more time outdoors with friends and family. until then, i'll be here at this desk, planning and teaching my lessons.

exams ended a few weeks ago and i havenāt done much since so iāve been pretty inactive here :/ i got a ton of my tests back and my grades look pretty good so far which is great! iām getting my report on friday, hope it goes well <33

Happy 2021! I hope this year will be kinder to us all. Getting back into uni work has been harder than I thought it would be. At least I got this pretty new radio to keep me company :)
