In Front of the Stop & Slurp

Turns out they fell in love in front of the Stop & Slurp, where they first fought off Ludo’s gang in the first episode:

And that’s where the portal descended to - in front of the Stop & Slurp.

I mean, Marco says that he fell for Star when they met, but I don’t think he remembers it quite right. Marco hated Star at first and just wanted to get away from her. But he changed his mind when they fought together against Ludo’s gang. And Star also lit up when she found out Marco could fight.

However, the Severing Stone probably made Star and Marco forget their memory of the Stop & Slurp fight. So Marco doesn’t remember what made him change his mind about Star that first day. And also, the crazy things that he initially hated her for? He quickly grew to find those things adorable about her. So Marco doesn’t remember it right.

The Star vs The Forces of Evil series finale aired today! 😭❤️✨I started on Star in March of 2015, my first actual job as “storyboard artist” in TV. I am so incredibly grateful that Daron took a chance with me; those first boards were a little rough!! I learned A lot on the job. A very special thank you goes to Sabrina, Dominic and Aaron for sharing your storyboard knowledge and being such fun and inspiring collaborators. This show was something special!
