My friends who watched me concernedly while I was staring into nothingness for ten minutes: ???

Me, at 3am, suddenly getting the motivation to write and finishing a chapter in one night: 👁️👁️

Me, the next morning, looking over it: oh god

Yes but am I buying that book because I'm "going to read it" or because it looks pretty?

On all levels except physical, I am writing

Shout out to all my friends who had to listen to me yelling about the different plot lines of the same story daily

Don't ask me what my WIP is about because even I can't tell at this point

My talents include coming up with story ideas at ungodly hours of the night and forgetting them immediately as soon as I sit down to write

All writers do is make playlists, scroll through social media, eat hot chip & make Pinterest mood boards

No writer has all three:

A good relationship with reality

A socially acceptable search history

Actual motivation

Sometimes the writer agenda is just starting intensely at your wip and hoping it will eventually complete itself

Minor inconvenience: *happens*

My characters: oh no

Me, finally about to start my first draft: :)

My brain: hey what if we changed the entire plot, like, right now

Once I get a proper grasp on my plot, actual motivation and enough patience to write a book it's over for y'all

Bitches will be talking about writing the entire day only to spend five hours on social media instead of actually doing it

Reverse gate keeping where I try to get everyone into a book I haven't even written yet

You're = daydreaming your story while listening to your playlist instead of writing again

Why follow the plot line I spent months developing when I could just bullshit the whole thing from memory
