rewatching dead poets society before making a really bad decision so you can get into the "carpe diem" mood is academia culture
"your writing is so advanced!"
"haha thanks" *deletes "synonymous of ..." from google reasearch*
the inherent romanticism of opening the note app, writing a verse, closing it and opening it other times until your poem is finished no matter how many years it takes
"i'm fine" *disappears in the fog and is never found again*
i love it when people are enthusiastic about a super obscure topic and get excited when you ask about it. like a lot of us are hesitant to ramble about our favourite things because we fear we’re being annoying but when someone actually asks you… it’s like they’re saying “i want to hear you talk passionately about the things you love, i want to be closer to you, i will always listen.”
tired eyes & tired minds a bright screen and tears cried
late hours and unhealthy caffeine too much pressure for just fifteen
thinking about all the books i could read if i didn’t have to study
i am every book i’ve read. every character i’ve loved. every song i’ve replayed, every thought i’ve had. i am made up of every laugh, tear, emotion ripped from me. i am everything i hold dear. i am me.
i just think it’s incredible how art can touch people and become facets of their identity... human beings’ capacity for empathy and honest, open understanding is astounding to me sometimes
everyone has a movie or a song or a book that they hold in their heart and can say “if i hadn’t experienced this piece of art at this specific point in my life i would not be the person i am today” and it’s just kind of beautiful how someone can create a piece of art that means something to them and share it with the world, and that thing can literally change another persons life... it’s so uniquely human and so. intimate i think
wedding rings are just like really intense friendship bracelets
Do you like to read books/novels and can’t afford to buy them all the time and don’t have access to a good library. Here are some e-book sites links I use.Â
b-ok (best)
PDFdrive (good)
8ebook (mediocre)Â
ibookpile (mediocre)
vk.com (only for latest romance/YA/new adult novels)
i enjoy the simple things in life
like recklessly spending my cash and being a disappointment to my family
its just me, my escapist tendencies, and these tits
girl help half of my waking hours are spent mentally preparing for talk show interviews i will do when i'm famous
i see so many dumb posts online but im being so nice and so brave about it
what if showing and receiving love are both skills ... and we have to practice them every day to get good at them
