Just some fan art of Benny from Lego for my son. It was fun to do and its not finished yet I've still got to add colour. Its been half term this week hence why I've been so quiet (hmm seems to have been half term forever) and my son has been saving up to buy himself a lego space shuttle which he did and we've been building it! I also grabbed my old lego catalogue from 89 so he can see how much its changed from when I was a kid. Well a few more hours yet...but hopefully 2021 will bring better things for us all! I'm hoping for a lot of things to change this year from health to home and family life. Its been a busy week already and life is a bit uncomfortable to say the least, school, Dr and dental appointments all round, and lots of stuff to deal with. Good job I've got art to save me. I never get tired of drawing! I'm working on a picture for colouring book 3, inspired by a Zulu story "Where Tales Came From." I was researching folklore and legends for my fairytale book and fell in love with this one. Its such a beautiful story. I've been looking at Zulu hairstyles and fashion both traditional and modern and tried to capture what I've seen. I hope I've done the tale and the culture justice with my illustration.
