"so how's traveling going Steven?" A matured chilled out Voice spoke

"Huh?" It took Steven a moment to tell who was speaking to him but, when he did, he immediately perked up as a smile spread on his face. "Oh! Hey Spinel!" He greeted as he wiped his hands on his shirt. "Gosh it feels like it's been ages. How have you been?" It felt like it had been forever ago since he'd left Beach City, but he'd felt happier than he did in ages though that didn't mean he didn't get a little homesick sometimes. "Oh! And traveling's been good! I've met a lot of cool people and seen some pretty awesome stuff already!"

"oh that's amazing I'm so proud of you Steven" she stretches out a hand to playfully ruffle his hair "I moved into little homeworld ...I see now why you didn't wanna stay in the palace.....stars the ladies mean well but their so....suffocating" spinel groaned rubbing her eyes "also .... maybe spoiling I have a girlfriend!"

"Heh! thanks!" He laughed as she ruffled his hair and grinned, it was nice to see a familiar face and he appreciated her presence. "Oh wow! That's nice to hear!" Gee, he really had been gone a while for so much to happen! He was proud Spinel decided to put some boundaries between her and the diamonds by moving to Little Homeworld. He knew they could be a little.... Much-

He audibly gasped and his eyes lit up with excitement when he heard her say she had a partner. "You have a girlfriend?! That's so awesome!"

Steven wiped the sweat from his forehead as he shut the hood of his car, the engine still emitting smoke. Unfortunately for him, magic healing spit didn't work on car engines.

At least he didn't think so. "Well, I guess I'm not heading anywhere anytime soon."

He took a good look at his surroundings, he supposed there were worse places to break down. Besides, every town or city had its charms if you gave it a chance.

Still, he should probably find some sort of car repair shop to get it working again.
