hi anon yes i have seen this before. it was a long time ago but the things i distinctly remember was ja catching a stray somewhere in the beginning, jeremy talking abt the meanings of his tattoos (i forgot), his first tattoo (sun) & nonsense at baylor. ik he got tatted in a back alley garage or smth there lmfao a very jeremy thing to do. i also remember he said that his mom wouldnt let him dye his hair til he was an adult but she let him get tattoos LOL
when i saw it all the interview did for me was confirm my fictional headcanons lmfao. tbh i always knew that jeremy was an artsy person so it made sense that he put lots of thought into what art he wants on his body. its not like this was the first time i found out he conceptualized his tattoos himself (that goes to this post).
as for other thoughts i have + other pieces of nba media: that was more of a jeremy centric interview iirc even if wemby is in the title they dont rlly talk abt him but thats fine. offtopic but if anybody cares abt a wembochan interview this polish interview is my favorite (note i use auto subtitles). i feel like in standard nba interviews ur not gonna get jeremys actual opinions on shit whether its abt victor or tattoos etc cuz everything is filtered. in the this interview & the one abt tattoos the environments casual so it feel more authentic
another offtopic but i am SO pissed that the wembochan childhood rivals game got deleted i wish i had saved a copy 💀 yeah idk if anybody heres interested in the mountain of wemby & jeremy shit ive hoarded for myself but although my rpf career has been more recent, in terms of actual basketball fandom ive known about jeremy for a long time but not in an rpf way, more of like, a march madness way. before getting on tumblr i knew him as the who flopped against unc iykyk, he really stood out so he stayed in my memory, i remember my first assumptions abt him was like, polish dillon brooks (LOL maybe half true). fyi i never projected him as the top 10 but surprisingly he went 9. is it bad to admit now that back then i thought he would be a draft bust...tbf his floor was super low, spurs development is rlly something. jeremy was really the definition of a "hes super athletic but can he even play basketball ???" kinda player
