“Were you wandering around looking for an erased dream too?”
I often come across videos of animals—mostly cats and dogs—facing euthanasia simply because they weren’t adopted within a shelter’s designated timeframe. It makes me question: Why do humans place such little value on the lives that nature and the universe have created? Why must everything—living or non-living—exist solely for our convenience?
Humans, regardless of circumstances, are given a chance to live—whether in orphanages, on the streets, or in old age homes. Yet, animals are not afforded the same opportunity. For those concerned about overpopulation, humane solutions like spaying and neutering exist. Instead of ending their lives, why not allow them the freedom to experience the world?
We worry endlessly about controlling animal populations but rarely question human overpopulation. Shelters that euthanize innocent lives—please reconsider. Every creature deserves a chance to see the world, to feel love, and to simply exist.
Yes, the world can be harsh and unforgiving, but life itself is beautiful, and every soul deserves the opportunity to explore it, no matter how brief. To those considering adoption—please choose to give an animal a chance at life. No animal should have to take its last breath in a cage, never knowing love or freedom.

The sad part of moving on is carrying the love you had for the person in a hidden corner of your heart until the end of your time. You never stop loving the people you once loved, you just learn to live without them until a memory of them brushes by you.
One random day, a random leaf, a random air, or a random breath reminds you of someone you loved and remember all the good memories.
Life is about walking ahead. Like one cannot age backwards, one cannot return to the past. Memories, good or bad, happy or sad, all help you walk, life is all about experiences. We live for experiences, emotions and we live for living the stories of our lives.
“You’d always be the most beautiful phase of my life.”
I wish the people were a little more kinder, a little more milder, a little more softer and a little more loving.
“Countless stories in the world and we crossed each others…”
Sharing a life, with drinks and candles on the mountains.
“I no longer know how to unwind the strings I have ended up intertwining with you.”
In the silent roars of a shimmering valley,
I stumbled upon a piece of rock,
It had a name engraved on it washed away.
Blinded by the worldly things,
I thought nothing of it and called it a souvenir.
The oceans screamed through the waves,
The name I didn’t want to hear.
Yet, it screamed its way in my life,
The mountains echoed your name,
I heard it in through my soul,
And I knew it was you.
You walked into my life,
With your soft demeanour and hopeful eyes,
Your voice was all I could hear
And your face was all I ever wanted to see.
You slipped a neck piece you possessed around me,
And I engraved your name in the piece of rock.
Happiness bites like winter wind, I wonder if I was born to be sad or I am so addicted to being sad that happiness cannot hold onto me.
To estranged piece of me,
I have seen what you wanted to show me,
I have heard what you wanted me to hear,
I have felt what you wanted me to feel,
I have cried as much as you wanted me to cry,
And I have regrets but to see you smile like that,
I’d let you go away from me always.
To estranged lover of mine,
I have realised I still love you like a crazy woman,
I have heard the beats of my heart for you,
I have missed you far more than anything,
I have wanted you closer but I know,
I have no place in your life, it’s a place I gave up,
but to see you happy like that, I’d give up all of me for you.
To the new lover in you,
The shine of your eyes now belongs to her,
The happiness on your face has a new reason,
The excitement in the intimacy with her
brings a glow on your face,
Perhaps you feel the soul return in you when you meet her.
To you,
I am writing this poem because
I cannot gather the courage to question you.
This inability to question you has brought to write you
in this poem and let you know how I feel.
Zillions times have I reminded myself
that I am in no place to ask you anything.
How desperately I wish you didn’t love her but me, but,
Your life belongs to you, your love belongs to you
and you can give it to anyone you feel for,
I am a nobody for you,
but this nobody wishes for you a lot of love
and happiness for the rest of your life.
