I think I may have ruined some kids Christmas at the mall today. He was crying because Santa was late for his little photo op and under my breath I mumbled, “I hope he isn’t off kissing your Mom again”. You know like the song, I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus? Well this kid didn’t get the joke and started wailing before looking at his Dad and saying “Mommy isn’t going to leave us for Santa is she?” I wanted to slip his Dad a $200 to pay for that kids first therapy session but I figured I’d done enough damage and went off to find the pretzel stand. There’s two things that I need to know from this story. Did you find the pretzel stand and was it a good pretzel? I’m sure that the child forgot all about it after he saw Santa anyways.  That or he’ll really think that his mom is going to leave his dad for Santa for the next little while. It really could have gone either way with that.

You know me, I am the absolute worst at trying to tell people what I want and notoriously worst at giving gifts. We should try to get some of the cast together for a last minute New Year’s Eve party or something. It’s still really weird not seeing you guys as often as we use to see each other.

I am notoriously bad at ice skating. I think that the last time I was out on the ice, I broke my arm. Then I swore I wouldn’t get back on the ice again. So my favorite pass time has become checking out all the Christmas light displays that people create.

First off, there is no way that you’re anywhere near being thirty. You could be doing a classic bar hopping evening. Party like there is no tomorrow while getting guys to buy all your drinks for you.

I know this sounds really…I don’t know, cynical maybe?, but do you ever wonder how many of the lovey-dovey couples or just couples in general you see while you’re out are actually two people who are already married to other people, meeting up not-so-secretly and having an affair? Think about it. We wouldn’t know unless you knew them personally or unless they’re in the public eye. We probably have seen couples out and about, think they’re cute, but really they’re just cheating on their significant other. And that’s definitely not cute. I know this sounds like I’m a woman scorned or something to have these thoughts, but honestly, the thought randomly popped in my mind the other day when I saw a cute couple having lunch across from me. I’m glad I’m not the only one who has had thoughts like this before. I’ve always wondered about couples like that walking around downtown together before. I guess it’s a byproduct of an active imagination mixed with a wondering people watching eye.

I am the exact same way. I’m the absolute worst at gift buying and telling people what I want for presents. With Thrones, I was always more alarmed when children wanted my Funko or other merchandise with my face on it. It was just proof that they knew what Thrones was and who I was as a character. It was usually parents putting their kids in an Arya shirt for their own pleasure. Though the weirdest thing that I’ve ever seen my face on is probably a body pillow. It gave me a bit of the creeps.

It’s a weird feeling when you finally get that silence. Something that you’ve been praying for for months then the moment you get it, all you want is for someone to be making noise again. Though nothing is more fantastic then the sound of family, so I’m excited to get back home and be with the family. How are you doing?  It’s lovely to meet you, I’m Maisie. I love your music!

Mostly my mother. She’s been my rock through everything and I’m shit at picking out presents for her.
