Story Outline (Of the story to never be finished)
The story was meant to follow Nexus after their forced move to a new dimension.
In this universe, magic is very low, to the unhealthy amount, and because of this, the dimension seemed dead. Yet somehow, it was still alive and running. Even so, the population in this world is low, ghosts and other magical beings, as well as highly advanced tech, is all out of whack, where in one town, its highly advanced, while in just the town over, it seems to have no technology at all.
(Heck there are places in this world called, "dead zones" where instead of producing magic like the world is meant to be, it takes in life energy, and kills anything that stays too long in those zones. Which is why in the starter comic, seeing the deer was important. It was showing Nexus made out of a dead zone.)
Because of this, Nexus is completely stuck, with no way out unless someone from an alt universe came and got them out. Which leads to Nexus having to stay with a strange Eclipse model who works in a daycare. Nexus hates this job and wants to do something else, but also is fighting with wanting to be nothing like Moon, going out of their way to do the complete opposite of what Moon would of done or liked. Which does mean, working in the daycare.
-----------------------------------------------
This is the first issue that was meant to be explored in the story.
This would be explored with Puppet, where they talk about being yourself for you and not because you want to prove another wrong. This also leads to Nexus exploring their gender and their identity. Leading to Nexus to get very close with Puppet.
After that, the story would explore Nexus opening up more. Where Nexus talks more with Eclipse and finds out two new things about this world.
1. Robots have a lifespan here and live only as long as humans here.
2. Eclipse has lost many friends, both to this worlds discrimination to machines, and to age.
This would help Nexus understand living without letting the rage control your life and living to prove the people that hurt you, who left you, that you are stronger than they think.
Finally, the last difficulty would be actually a situation with the world itself. Mainly with how this universe is not just a prison for Nexus, but a entity made of just dark star power.
Abyss
-----------------------------------------------
She is based off a black hole, and tries making Nexus relapse and use dark star power again. Promising them a way out of this dimension of they work together, and Nexus finding out secrets about Abyss and this universe.
In the end, Abyss is very close to freeing herself, and eating the multiverse. But Eclipse sacrificing himself to trap Abyss again. Kind of leaving Nexus on their own again, at least having Puppet and Springs again, and Nexus living out their rest of their life, in this universe, taking care of the daycare, til they meet their time limit too.
A very melancholy ending in a way.
