How do you make those icons that you made with Naoto Shirogane? Like what filter or effect did you use?

oh hi anon! i dont really remember what i did since it was over a year ago, but i probably used soft light, hard light, and lighten layers to get the look i wanted.

usually, i would take the background color and change the layer from normal to soft light or hard light and play around with the opacity. this was so that the whole thing looked more "uniform", in a sense? then i'd usually slap on a dark grey layer and change that to lighten to make it look cool.

i hope that makes sense. but feel free to ask more questions about my whole process.
