so these are two of my paintings I’ve done this semester and my professor has told me literally every day since I’ve painted them that I should paint over them and they just don’t work. today he told me I would never get anywhere in life if I keep painting like this. so I just was wondering do any of yall like them? would you buy a painting like this?

art teachers are honestly douchebags for some reason. they seem to feel entitled to tell you how to art because they went to school and graduated already. I had a teacher tell me that my photo realistic hands were bad because normal hands dont look/contort like that- but i just have weird hands (elongated and thin but i have a disproportionately big wrist + hitchhikers thumb and can bend my wrist and fingers in weird ways) and because i was using my own body as a ref- my art was ‘wrong’. She also constantly discouraged me from drawing cartoons or anything similar and hated anything monotone. she thought bob ross was a terrible painter and that all his art was ‘dead’ too. Unless you were doing psychedelic oil paintings she wasn’t happy

love how lavender automatically assumed it was white people being the devil- everyone is capable of equal evils, hate and discrimination doesnt care who its host is.

i hope that things go well and the petition gets the signatures they need, no one has the right to treat people like this- these people deserve to live how they want and shouldn't be forced to live a certain way or have their source of food stolen like this.

art for the prologue of that story i was talkin about the other day! Its going to open with The Panic Room on Western night, the act doesnt show up so Star and Chester (the rabbit can multiply himself) performing “The devil went down to Georgia”. Its a good song even if you arent a huge country fan. its has a nice beat and the story is fun as well.  (Also ignore the missing period in the first line RIP)
