If you still take sketch ideas; I loved seeing all the art of the Radio Trio and the Vees and their interactions! I'm actually very curious how Husk came to like Vox, I'm very surprised about that!

I actually haven’t thought too deeply about whether there was one specific thing that made Husk start liking Vox. It feels more like something that happened naturally over time.

In my Radiotriovees AU, there are a lot of reasons why Husk likes Vox. First of all, Vox pays for his drinks. (I think Vox is the kind of guy who enjoys securing his position as the leader/protector by paying for things for his family. I feel like paying—and monitoring—are probably Vox’s most prominent love languages.)

In this AU, Vox and Husk also form some kind of weird old-man drinking alliance, where they regularly get drinks together one or two nights a week. (Btw, Alastor is also part of this alliance, but he can be such an asshole so Husk usually prefer drinking with Vox.)

Also, since Vox is generally less interested in mammals, he rarely treats Husk like a cute little cat, which definitely earns him some extra points with Husk.

I think Vox would actually really like Husk as an ally, too. Husk is emotionally stable most of the time, has common sense, knows his way around alcohol, and generally behaves like an adult. Overall, aside from his concerning gambling addiction and his relatively minor drinking problem, Husk is a pretty reliable partner. (And Alastor in this AU is a responsible pet owner, so he’s usually the one keeping Husk’s gambling and problem under control. The most Vox has to do is pay for Husk’s drinks and occasionally drag a completely wasted Husk home. Val and Vel have already trained him to be very good at both.

Some of the specific things here are definitely a little difficult to convey through sketches, but I’d absolutely be happy to draw more interactions between Vox and Husk 🥰

I lov your R + V family but I have a question do any of them have a crush on each other or is it all mutual cuz husk seems to car for vox and velvette O e Val but I understand if it just friendship like niffty and val

When I came up with this AU, the relationships between the characters were basically all friendships! Alastor and Vox are probably in a queerplatonic relationship, while Val and Vox would most likely still have a sexual relationship. Beyond that, I haven’t really thought too much about it, though I’m not ruling out other possibilities. Overall, this AU is mainly about portraying friendship.
