When I lock eyes with this boy, it’s hard to look away. For one thing, he's got the most expressive eyes and his grin just pulls you in. For another, he love to stare back. Sometimes I catch him staring at me so hard, with his eyebrows raised and unblinking eyes wide open. He would kill it in a staring contest. I recently read a study that when a baby and an adult make eye contact, their brain waves fall in sync. And those shared patterns of brain activity may actually pave the way for better communication between baby and adult: Babies make more sweet, little sounds when their eyes are locked onto an adult who is looking back. Today is International Day of Happiness, the First Day of Spring and Orion is now 8 months old! 💙 Our little dude is scooting and crawling all over the place, pulling himself up and walkin with assistance.
