Ever since I first experiendedn the beauty and the pain of ballat, I was in depp love with it.
In my younger and more vulnerable years my father gave me some advice that I've been turning over in my mind ever since.
"Whenever you feel like criticizing any one," he told me, "just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had."
--F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby

‘swan lake, suite, op. 20a - waltz’ by tchaikovsky but you’re hiding in the gardens outside of a masquerade ball thrown in your honor, hoping they don’t find you and wed you off to some wealthy aristocrat’s heir because you know the whole affair was secretly intended for finding you an upstanding match for marriage. Thèmes et variations (Germaine Dulac, 1928) + Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6
“Do you believe that it is necessary to have a story to stir an audience? Isn’t the visual effect enough, does it not play upon your nerves like a symphony?” - Germaine Dulac
Shsgsvdsjdhdhbhcb check out this thing I made with the Beating Heart Baby cover! It’s the cover along with a layer of audio from a coffee shop. This was mostly to practice audio mixing for videos and stuff so I was able to mess with both tracks and got them to play on each ear separately. Right ear is the song and left ear is coffee shop ambience!
