GUYS I HAVE A CRAZY LARS OF THE STARS THEORY

So we know that part of the series will be exploring the history of Homeworld and the gem empire, right?

I think I know how they’ll show certain past events, and it has to do with Padparadscha.

Padparadscha is a sapphire who, rather than seeing into the future, can see into the past. So my idea is that whenever the crew comes across a certain location, artifact, etc., she will be able to see something from long ago that occurred around it.

Furthermore they’d probably have some sort of device or other gem that they get early on that can project her memories so that everyone can see it in real time.

This would be a really cool way to explore Homeworld’s past and I’d be really happy if they did something like it!! Would also be really cool for Pad to become more than just a punch line

HC: Before faking Pink’s shattering, Rose would sneakily let Pearl do stuff she wasn’t supposed to like sitting on her throne or commanding (sabotaging) a loyalist ship. Pearl would be really nervous at first but they’d both end up giggling kicking their feet at their smaller acts of rebellion

This seems to me like something they would absolutely do. Especially after they bonded on Earth.

Title: My Universe.

Been rewatching Steven Universe with my sister, so I had to do something to commemorate the occasion. Say what you want, but Rose is such a fascinating character to me. Her impact on the story, despite not being around for nearly the entire show, just goes to show how influential her own passion and love were to those around her and how it lingered, even with all the not-quite-so-good things revealed as the story expands.

Anyway, I could go on, but I don't wanna bore, so have some sketches. Oh! And and og fanart I did way back in 2019!

I love how she looks even without all the lighting and rendering, and I had a lot of fun lining her.
