I made this blog to have one place to dump my hdg related pieces, so it's mainly about kink, tho most of the works will probably not be suggestive.
I am now caught up with the older stuff. I'm quite busy these days, but once things calm down a little I'll post the more recent stuff I have done in the meantime!
Also, I am changing my nickname from MilkyWay to StarryEmily
Since new stuff will be coming relatively soon, I want to use this opportunity to change the nickname that I have been using in hdg spaces. I feel that "MilkyWay" is too generic, so I will be changing it to:
Accord ship CNS Cement, the Brick Class armored transport vessel!
01/02/2026 [Ship Lore under the break]
The CNS Cement is a Brick-Class transport vessel, a specialized and armored military cargo ship that stands at a length of 560m and a height of 240m.
Its role was to ferry precious or dangerous loads for the Cosmic Navy, like weapons, explosives, and highly valuable materials, even through perilous active combat zones, to support fleets, or across several lightyears of space.
To accomplish that, the Brick class could count on a thick and sturdy armor, augmented by reinforced plaques capable of withstanding both heat and kinetic impacts, as well as various forms of radiations, leaving the potentially delicate cargo unharmed and relatively stable.
For additional security, the ship was equipped with four point defense laser domes, mainly to intercept missiles and deter smaller pirate crafts.
Given the vessel's size, a thin gravity ring, as well as massive water tanks, were crucial to grant autonomy for longer voyages, allowing shipments to be hauled far and wide, while ensuring their safekeeping.
The cargo bay is also sizeable, occupying the entire forward side of the ship, but external racks were also present on its sides, providing additional space for water tanks or other less risky goods.
My interpretation of the Spirit of Jupiter from the original Human Domestication Guide by @glitchyrobo ! Who also taught me a lot of blender tips and tricks.
21/01/2026 [Ship Lore under the break]
The Spirit of Jupiter, piloted by Elvira, was a small frigate, with a length of 65m and a height of 17m.
This class was not thought as a heavy hitter, with a very light armament consisting of 2 coilgun turrets, 12 torpedo cells, and 4 point defense lasers. Rather, it was supposed to act in conjunction with a squadron of similar vessels, relying on a frigate carrier for support and resupply. For this reason, the ship did not have a dedicated spinning habitation ring, operating instead under thrust gravity.
The diminutive size of the vessel allowed it however to be extremely maneuverable, as well as fast, and to be commanded via an interface tank, making it particularly effective in the hands of a skilled pilot, such as Elvira herself.
The ship also has multiple sensory platforms, such as twin phased arrays, and a ventrally mounted antenna, that also serves as rack for attaching additional cargo, or for docking with the carrier.
Salamanding has been doing some utterly fantastic work on pieces for the new HD.G website and has been a delight to work with.
(One of the things I'm most excited about the site is the sheer volume of art we've managed to collect - at the moment at like 120 unique art pieces from around 20 different artists. So excited for y'all to be able to see it!!!)

Accord Ship! The CNS far Eea, the Sawfish Class! With one big ass coilgun cannon!!!
19/10/2025 [Ship Lore under the break]
The CNS Far Eea HARM-09849 (305m long, 46m tall and wide, 80m including radiators) was a Sawfish-Class vessel serving under the Terran Cosmic Navy at the time of the Terran domestication campaign.
The Sawfish class' main characteristic was its 195m long coilgun, one of the biggest guns in the entire Accord's Navy, capable of dispensing more than 2m wide projectiles at speeds otherwise unreachable by other magnetic weapons. The cannon was spinally mounted in the fore of the ship, taking most of its length, and was its only notable armament, besides 4 point defence laser domes.
For its peculiar composition, the Sawfish class couldn't easily fit any preexisting hull designation, sporting an armament too heavy for a cruiser, but otherwise being way too small to be a battleship, having also one singular cannon. In the end, a new designation was coined for it, and the ship was classified as "Heavy Artillery with Responsive Mobility" (HARM).
In theory, the purpose of the Sawfish class was to act as mobile artillery against both stationary and moving targets, being able to punch way above its weight, its massive coilgun capable of bringing down anything from heavy battleships to space stations in even just one hit, if well placed. It could also work well in sieges against planetside bases and defences, and could hit its targets from a further range than most could respond.
This, however, was in theory. In practice, using such a vessel effectively was more difficult, especially against fast moving targets, and it often required positioning in advance. The gun was also prone to overheating, needing large radiators throughout its whole length to avoid so, and despite that, its rate of fire was still relatively slow. What's more, the coils required massive amounts of energy, and although it had dedicated capacitor banks to feed them, a prolonged use still resulted taxing on the generator of the ship.
Truthfully, only a few specimens of the Sawfish class ended up being built, and the majority of them saw little use. Their purpose was in the end mainly propagandistic, posing as a sort of wonder weapon, and acting as a disproportionate show of force whenever they were brought out of the dock.
To the Accord's merit, however, the cannon did offer a terrific spectacle once it was actually fired.
Such tremendous firepower was, of course, still not enough to deal more than a few scratches to any Compact vessel.
The Accord ship CNS Distant Thunder from Dandelion Fluff! Designed following a description provided by the author.
07/02/2025 [Ship Lore under the break]
The CNS Distant Thunder DD-05492
(135m of length, 45m tall and 30m wide, protruding radiators included) was a destroyer serving under the Terran Cosmic Navy at the time of the Terran domestication campaign.
The armament was composed of 9 point defence laser turrets, covering the ship from all angles, and especially 3 main batteries, comprised by 2 railguns and a bigger laser cannon, all mounted on the upper deck, overseen by the taller main bridge.
The Distant Thunder was more than capable to punch above it's relatively moderate weight, as the high caliber artillery, almost oversized for the vessel, made it a veritable threat to even Cruisers, making it optimal to use as an offensive tool.
Despite the point defence lasers, the ship was still very much vulnerable to flanking from behind and below, where instead of guns, a multi purpose rack was placed, to facilitate docking, cargo transport, and possibly attach the Distant Thunder to other ships.
The weakness was offset by the speed and responsiveness of the destroyer, possible thanks to the quintuple nozzles of diamond shaped engines, facing bidirectionally, that made it very difficult to outmaneuver.
The ship, like most smaller TCN vessels, lacked a habitation ring, and relayed mainly on thrust gravity and support from a bigger fleet for its deployments. For this reason, once the Distant Thunder was captured, its crew showed difficulties in readapting to normal gravity environments.
The Accord ship CNS Thetis' Flare, an Arcadia Class light cruiser!
18/03/2025 [Ship Lore under the break]
The CNS Thetis' Flare CL-42069 (235m long, 91m tall and 50m wide) was an Arcadia-Class light cruiser serving under the Terran Cosmic Navy at the time of the Terran domestication campaign.
The Arcadia was a very widespread class within the TCN, as a fairly versatile and optimized vessel that could take on a variety of different duties. As such, it sported a wide and varied arsenal, with two laser cannons and two turrets with four railguns each, as well as four missile launching systems, and four point defence lasers.
With its spacious cargo bay and the presence of a gravity ring, the ship is also suitable for a longer deployment time, which coincidentally made it also a prime candidate for defecting during the feralist resistence.
