one of my goals for the year is to play all the dragon age games (except origins bc it won't run lol), and I just recently finished da2 (shoutout to @starrydice for being my audience and guide 😎👍)

I love all the companions, but my faves have to be fenris, sebastian, and varric (not pictured, yet) for sure :) the amount of sketches I have of them is very much growing steadily lmao

Concept and colour: @hijennyt I posted a full write down on instagram, but basically... Earlier this year I peer pressured lovingly commissioned my talented friends to animate my dragon age fanart. This started as an experiment in building a small, indie style pipeline for fan projects. While I couldn’t find enough animators to fully finish what I had in mind, what did come together, I absolutely loved.

Edit to add: in a time where ai slop has been becoming more prevalent, I think collabs are a way to combat it.

If you love the animation please check out the animators, they are incredible and gave me a fairytale moment that went way polished than it had to. I'm also still keen to do future animation experiments, so if you know of any available experienced anime styled animators hit me up.

Some recent drawings of my girl Nel, who really got hit full force with the angst beam. Featuring characters belonging to @starrydice and @applefix-art

Context to this is that there was a major battle between the major factions in game, and Nel had to face off against her sister, while trying to keep her from murdering her friends. The fight resulted in Clary chopping Nel’s arm off (the same side that she too lost when Nel first returned to the living), an explosion (not caused by either of them) destroying the entire area, Clary getting crushed along with several other major NPCS, and utterly heartbreaking choices the DM had us all make (shout out to @starrydice for tearing our hearts out). This was a moment in the aftermath, between Nel and Arthur, who just lost someone of his own.

Their friendship means so much to me ;v;
