Adopted, yes! He treats Indigo’s child like his own.

What does Bell do for a living? And and also what do you consider Bell and Indigo's dynamic?

For his job, Bell treats patients with different conditions that are taboo, such as curses. Cursed people are shunned from society. Because of this, this doesn’t exactly pay well.

So for a living in the past, he worked as an adventurer, and he was quite renown too, hence him going under an alias to separate his public and private life. Before that, he was an assistant in a clinic :>

As for their dynamic, they have met before, but they really got to know each other while being coworkers. Bell joins Indigo due to his similar goal in treating the cursed, with Bell wanting these people to be able to live normally without fear of being killed or ostracized. With Indigo being an eccentric man, he often worries Bell. Bell would clean up his spaces, feed him when he notices he isn’t eating, etc. Bell definitely was fond of Indigo by then, and it’s quite easy to tell. Due to this, Indigo very much enjoys teasing and flirting with him.

Bell is the more emotionally mature one between the two, so he often helps Indigo through his own feelings and personal struggles. Indigo doesn’t like being seen as weak, especially to him, so it’s very vulnerable and intimate when he’s able to with Bell.

Tldr: it’s very much a flustered caretaking Bell and a one track mind but well-meaning Indigo. Again, thank you for the ask <3!
