Since I’m finally back, it’s time for some #starryrants again, but this time about The Sun and Moon Show, since I’ve secretly been watching their content since their first 2 videos and was around since before original Eclipse was revealed 👀
If ya’ll didn’t know my favorite character is Lunar/Cosmos my beloved and I just wanna bring a theory into the forefront.
What if when Cosmos snaps (like what was said is eventually going to happen in the last livestream and after yesterdays video seems more and more likely by the minute, which valid crash out tbh), he somehow is able to unlock his star powers on his own, since Titan and the Dark Astrals have told him that he has so much untapped potential?
This would not only mean that Titan did truefully warn him about what Monty would possibly do to protect Terra and his family *, especially if Cosmos unlocks his powers in a way that is similar to when he accidentally hurt her, but it would also mean that Titans true goal is to make Cosmos unlock his powers, so he won’t be “boring” to him anymore.

It actually makes some sort of sense, since Titan keeps taunting Cosmos about him “not being able to do anything” and “not being strong enough” and Titan being “better than him” *. When Cosmos finally re-unlocks his powers and possible true potential, mixed up with all that anger and frustration, he will snap, start lashing out, hurting others, either losing his mind like Titan did or begin to put his family in danger or both. Not only that but the enjoyment that Titan would get from Cosmos hurting his family or snapping would probably be monumental and enough for him to leave the celestials alone, since he got what he wanted.
So in the end, Monty might actually have to do something to protect Terra and his family that might be unforgivable in Terra’s eyes (which could be why the wedding is being dragged out for so long too). This might include either seriously hurting/killing Cosmos or a betrayal from his family, making him a true outcast of the family and the monster that Titan is and that Aries says he would never be similar to.
I don’t know if this makes any cohesive sense, and if it doesn’t I apologize, it’s 5am where I am and I’m running on late night theories and excitement for this arc! I have Cosmos/ Titan art coming soon, I can’t wait to show everyone the art I’ve done on my hiatus! 💕✨
