A much needed update 👩🏻🎨🌷⭐️🌳
i hope you’re all doing good and well 💗 i haven’t had the chance to post over here in a while! so i decided i should just write a lil update :3
last october i started working a full time job for the first time in my life and it isn’t necessarily a 9-5… the schedules change everyday and sometimes i get home around 9pm or 8pm with hour long breaks in between that i have to spend on a bus to go home, only to have 30 minutes to eat and then be on my way back to work on the bus. as you can imagine, i don’t really have a lot of free time because of this during the week, and i wish i did.
my weekends are usually spent with my friends who i miss dearly during the week as my current coworkers are a nightmare to work with (and i can’t afford to quit right now, as much as i would like to) and my friends just give me that hope in humanity again after dealing with my coworkers hahah.
I read sometimes, but frankly nowhere near as much as i used to when i wasn’t working full time (obviously) and i don’t dedicate as much time to fully fleshing out illustrations, i just do silly little very rough sketches of ideas in my mind, but never actually get to the lets-actually-make-this part bc i know it will take a looooong time, and that puts me off so i simply don’t :(
other than that, life has been very up and down lately, my grandma passed in october and we’re being kicked out of our apartment cause it’s being sold, and we can’t seem to find anything affordable within miles of our jobs (my family’s). so that’s also kept me from being creative… all the stress and life situations have overridden my life and creating simply isn’t in the forefront of my mind right now (no matter how much i wish it could be).
so that’s what i’ve been up to and a bit of a diary entry haha. i really hope to share more art with you all soon as it really just gives me happiness and relief from this crazy world we live in.
