With the constant pressure from his family, the curse still lingering over him, and his past failures weighing upon his chest.. "Samuel, you can't leave me behind like this!! This prank was your idea too, you know!" It was too late, the portal close and it left Renate behind. He could hear Sheridan making his way down the hall humming a tune and yet it still had that ominous feeling to it.. Well those around would hear a scream as punishment was dealt to the prankster.

A frown, serious and deep, came onto Sun’s features; the Monkey King letting himself land on the ground and make his way towards the Spirit. Standing straight so he could put a hand on Ayumu’s shoulder, he pulls him down to his level.

“I need you for somethin’ happenin’ in the Spiritual Realm, if you catch what I’m throwing out there Ayumu.” Sun then patted Ayumu’s shoulder, a grin coming onto his lips. A shit-eating one.

“That is if you’re up for it ~!”

The look on Sun's face did show that this was going to be a serious matter. Which was rare for the being before him but when an issue did arise, it usually was one of great importance. Though he didn't imagine it would have anything to do with the Spiritual Realm of all places. The Monkey King needed his assistance but that would mean leaving Kao and MK in charge.. Well this would be one way to test if they are able to handle the Bathhouse in his absence.

"The Spiritual Realm is it? Well I can see why you need my help since one must tread carefully there. Why would I not be up for assisting you, Wukong~? Though this means leaving our respective students in charge while we're away. You do realize this yes?"

No doubt the man was furious over having his hair changed into a more.. lime green color. Why couldn't he take a joke sometimes!?

There was a silence for a moment as Miles thought about the question posed by Raoul. A hand moving to rotate the ring around his finger before moving it to hold the other's hand. "I have once.. It was an incredibly lonely feeling." Sure when they first encountered one another on the field, it wasn't the friendliest circumstances. Though over time, the two did have some things in common to where there wasn't much animosity when they crossed paths. Who knew that it would result like this? The two of them happily married and with the same occupation. "I don't think I would've found anyone else if we hadn't met back then.. I've always been so engrossed with my research and job. All past relationships didn't work out because of that.. You're the only one that could understand it but now I can't even go out like I used to anyway."

Kao's manner of speech and behavior stands out from those around him. Many have wrote it off as him having difficulty learning how to behave like a human. Though the truth of the matter is, he is unable to speak how he wants. Unable to express himself properly or move as he wishes. This is all due to a curse of sorts, one placed upon him from an injury he sustained shortly after his 'birth' into the world. Attacked by a blot phantom, the blot itself burned into his chest. This created a curse that stood as a 'wall' within him, one that prevented his true self from coming forth. Only when the curse is drawn out of him can Kao truly be as he was meant to.. Being a Spirit of Generosity and Gratitude. The curse reversed some aspects of himself. Such as his nearly insatiable appetite instead of being more giving. But his life will be on a better path once the tarnish within him is removed.

From where he was, he frowned, going to hang upside down from it with his tail holding and supporting his weight. That was a good threat – truly it was – and Sun hummed out loud to give Ayumu the indication that he was thinking.

“You wouldn’t dare – you’d miss me too much!” He pointed at Ayumu as if that proved anything, his golden eyes narrowing. “Besides! I needed your attention for a reason.”

Ah, there he was. Ayumu looked up at the other and crossed his arms after setting the papers on his desk. So his tactic was to try and threaten him in return? It had some truth to it but what Sun said next did grasp his attention. “I would, yes, but you do need to learn that what’s on my desk is off limits.” They were all important papers and other such trinkets..
