                        A SWIFT DEDUCTION THAT could only be made by a Vulcan, and completely, to which Spock is unsurprised. Still, he fits an eyebrow higher on his forehead, careful to listen and consume her introduction, until the name flares in his mind——T’Pol——and not quite familiarity but recognition, widens his gaze by fractions. In his own timeline, there is not a single Vulcan of whom does not know her name. Any officer of Starfleet is no exception. It seems——it feels——inadequate, to greet such legend with merely the standard of their shared peoples. The sensation is illogical. And yet, half-human, perhaps, he could be excused for his burgeoning eagerness in this meeting. Quickly, Spock delineates where unexpected circumstances have deposited him in space time: a century ago. Though, its exact universe is still yet to be determined. The Temporal Prime Directive may have weight if not for T’Pol’s intellect to the contrary. “ I am Spock. ” Spock lowers his hand and folds them both at his back. He intends to proceed with caution. “ Shall I presume we are currently aboard the NX class vessel designated the Enterprise? ”

❝Your parents chose to name you after one of Vulcan’s few heroes. Spock is an excellent name.❞   She can tell that there is some level of mute excitement. Almost as if he were holding himself back-----Spock is well taught. But why would there be excitement? She was simply another Vulcan just as he was. This logically must be due to something that will occur in her life time making her well known.

She feels unease, but that reaction is swiftly controlled. Emotions do not dictate her moves, she does. She cannot afford to be anything less than perfect, especially when aboard a vessel of humans who watch her every move. They will be swift to point out any flaw and are often more ruthless than other Vulcans. Though it is well known that many Vulcans do not support the friendship between Earth and Vulcan. T’Pol is something of an example. SHe must lead by association.

This is Earth’s first voyage into space on the warp five engine.❞  Since Spock is not from this time she has logically deduced that telling him the information will not hurt anything in the timeline since he is from their future and not their past.  ❝We are currently using Vulcan star charts to help them explore. underrated relationship in enterprise is trip and t’pol bc they have the same vibes as mccoy and spock. they just argue and that’s their friendship.

There is something refreshing about being among one’s own species. Not that she did not come to affectionately appreciate the humans she traveled with, but they were illogical. Though, unlike many of her species who still regard humans as illogical, emotional, and reckless------she was beginning to change her views. They were rough around the edges, but works in progress. There was potential. It seemed, judging by how not fazed he was, that he too spent time among humans. Though, in what capacity she did not know.   ❝ I assume you are here by some outside means such as the Guardian? ❞   The method mattered little. By vulcan standards, she was sufficiently interested.
