what can we do to help amazon? everyone is saying that no-one gives a fuck about it, but no one is giving information how to help the situation :(

The “no-on gives a fuck” is about worldwide media not talking about this. But it’s really nice of you to want to help us.

You can donate here if you want to help stop the exploitation and deforestation of Amazon. The president, who calls himself “Captain Eletric Saw,” allows the exploitation and destruction of the Amazon for economic ends.

You can also donate to SOS AMAZONIA here. They are the biggest NGO in Brazil and they work with implantation of public policies that aims into preservation of the Amazon and it’s people.

REGARDING THE FINALE

i  won’t  be  posting  any  spoiler  content  for  the  series  finale  for  a  few  days,  but  if  you  haven’t  gotten  the  chance  to  watch  it  yet  but  plan  to  watch  it  eventually,  please  blacklist  ‘ s.vtfoe finale ’  and  ‘ s.vtfoe spoilers ’  without  the  period  !  i  will  be  using  those  tags  once  i  start  including  finale  /  post - finale  content.  THANK  YOU  !

TINY  META  ON  STAR’S  PHYSIQUE

okay,  so  !  i  know  that  star  tends  to  be  shown  as  rather  petite  when  it  comes  to  original  art  and  f.anart.  and  while  i  don’t  say  that  that  interpretation  of  her  is  wrong  or  anything   (  god forbid  !  )   i  want  to  take  the  time  and  say  :  my  interpretation  of  star  includes  her  having  toned  muscles  and  more  rough  features.   (  except  her  cheeks  ;  star  has  puffy / chubby  cheeks  no  matter  what.  i  don’t  make  the  rules  !  )   

my  reasoning  for  this  is  that  she’s  been  trained  by  the  royal  guard  since  she  was  a  child,  and  fighting  monsters / taming  wild  unicorns / other  shenanigans  she  gets  up  to  are  all  very  physical  activities.  this  +  her  (  usually  )  big  appetite  all  factor  into  this.  like  ... you  can  definitely  see  that  she  is  also  river’s  daughter.  star  only  has  half  the  elegance  from  her  mother’s  side,  but  that  doesn’t  particularly  bother  her.

another  reason  for  this  is  her  MAGICAL  TRAINING.  i’m  planning  on  writing  another  meta  on  star’s  magic  in  general,  but  the  gist  of  it  is  that  star  is  only  able  to  use  magic  so  easily  because  she  has  a  high  physical  endurance  from  her  training.  the  more  she  practises,  the  easier  it  gets   —   but  harnessing  her  magic  takes  strength  and  concentration.  since  star  used  to  lack  the  latter  when  she  began  using  magic,  her  strength  overpowered  her  spells.  her  concentration  got  better  once  she  learned  to  dip  down,  and  using  wandless  magic  is  exactly  that.  THEREFORE,  star  really  needs  her  body  and  mind  to  be  in  balance  when  she  uses  magic.  aka  the  more  physically  fit  she  is,  the  easier  it  is  for  her  to  access  powerful  magic.  

TL;DR  :  star  is  muscular  and  you  can’t  do  anything  about  it.

How to uplift & love lesbians in the rpc (& hopefully always??) even if you yourself are not a lesbian:

listen to lesbians?? esp trans lesbians and/or lesbians of color. we’re not a hive mind and we’re gonna vary depending on the person lmao.

if a character you’re playing is revealed to be a lesbian then it’s time to hang up the ships you have with men (because no, you can’t be a lesbian and date men, that’s Kinda A Thing), change your muse’s bio and rules, and move the fuck on. maybe make a psa post if you’re feeling sparky. 

this isn’t the time to make “””””aus””””” where your lesbian muse is bi, dig your heels into the ground, or go “canon divergent” or w/e just so u can continue to ship them w/ men. That’s overtly shitty.

if you see friends doing this shit, you need to tell them to curb that shit. It’s not the time to be like “Well it’s their RIGHT to—” NAH DUDE, it’s erasure. period.

This is related to the first one, but also UNLEARN LESBOPHOBIA. 

If someone says you’ve done something lesbophobic take a step back, evaluate, and then be better going forward. Dont play the keyboard bongos whilst insisting that you’re really in the right or guilt-trip the person telling you (ei: “im sorry i’m a horrible person and should die”)

Actively support lesbians. Trans lesbians and Lesbians of color. Older lesbians and baby lesbians who are just figuring themselves out. Lift their voices and make them feel loved and valued!! It’s easy and free!!!

Take an interest in lesbian muses! Again. Especially lesbian muses of color and trans lesbian muses. They need love! A lot of times people kinda. lose interest in muses that they don’t think are as “shippable”. 👏 f/f 👏 ships 👏 are 👏 good 👏 ships! 👏
