I've had this idea for a little while now and finally wanted to make it a reality! For anyone who currently plays or has ever played the game Star Stable Online, this is a place for you to anonymously (or not!) voice your opinions on the game. What you love, hate, wish SSO would change, or even just good things that have happened to you while playing! Posting something doesn’t mean that opinion is shared by me, I’m just here to let everyone get their thoughts out in a nice way! The biggest rules here are:

Be respectful, even if voicing a negative opinion

NO naming and shaming other players. You can voice annoyance at a player, but no names should be included. Things still need to remain as respectful as possible.

Absolutely NO homophobia, transphobia, racism, etc. ANY asks including anything like that will immediately be deleted without question. (This goes along with being respectful.)

I'll likely add more rules as time goes on, should I find reason to. But for now, that's all! Ask box should be open and ready to go!

Might sound harsh, but the fashion show thing just seems like such a waste to me. It’s basically an Instagram photo contest chucked into the game with rewards that are honestly terrible. But I guess that’s what happens when every single smaller event ever is pulled out of the game. They start grasping at straws to keep people interested instead of just…revamping those smaller events or even, idk, working on the main quest line??

I miss big bonny and evergray’s antics reeeaalll fucking bad. They were so obscenely charming on screen together. and no one cares even no one cares about big meow meow

The last invite a friend reward was a horse and this one is just...a pet? Don't get me wrong, it's cute, but doesn't seem worth it to me.

We’ve had so many lackluster updates again lately. New horse, bazaar, new clothes/tack, annoying puzzle quest that just kept you repeating the same things like 5 times. SSO did amazing at first with the Nobles/Witches stuff and the new area, then just…dropped it, storyline doesn’t continue. (And probably won’t for ages, if we’re being honest). I know there’s always the option of taking a break for a bit, but I really love the game and it’s sad to see things STILL becoming so redundant or forgotten.

I’m getting SO annoyed by the Blight barrier things during the Marchenghast race. “Ride at a canter or faster’, buddy, I AM. It doesn’t always register on the bigger ones and sometimes you just phase through the smaller ones without breaking them, even if you hit them dead on .-.

I disagree with the previous anon. While yes, you do get lost, I do not think that's bad. There's multiple ways out of everywhere and if you just get to a road, you're unlost. Map.

As cool as the new area is.. I absolutely HATE the forest. It’s horrible to traverse, hard to see, and the lantern mechanic just gets annoying. Moreso if you get lost, which you WILL-

Today’s update seemed…pointless to me. Another bazaar, not even a special event anymore, and like…4-5 lines of dialogue. Really?

So I'm locking in and trying to calculate how many champs I have left to do to get all the ribbons for the Championship Ranks, and since you have to wait half an hour in between each champ, assuming you get the max amount of points each champ, you get AT MOST 10 points per hour. You need 250 points to get all of the ribbons. So you would need to wait 25 hours in total to get all the ribbons MINIMUM and uh.. am I the only one who finds that kinda ridiculous?

I'm not saying these ribbons should be handed out like candy but maybe lower that number? Or let the ribbons be released in the global store too after a few months (keep it at the shillings cap or star coins only if you wanna keep it exclusive or whatever)? Or maybe just make it races in general to bipass the wait time? Idk, Something? Maybe I'm just complaining because I'm sick of all the champs, though, but can't bring it in myself to break free of the obvious FOMO bait lol

I love the Winter Village stuff, don’t get me wrong, but taking away finding the auroras just…idk, rubs me the wrong way. I get it’s primarily a game for children, but why do we have to keep essentially ‘dumbing everything down’? (Sorry for the harsh wording, it’s the only way I could think to describe it atp)

Today questline was so dumb in my opinion.

‘Hey we’re the new and best western riding club!’

Proceeds to do absolutely no western riding in the race.

Kinda feel like this last little group of updates has been...lackluster. I know SSO is probably just getting ready for all the winter festivities, but I feel like several of these updates could've been rolled into just one-

Sso players are really bad at dressing their avatars. But sometimes i live for the cheugy looks.

jorvik-fashion is one of my favourite blogs on tumblr rn i love how they make the world of jorvik feel a little bit more alive!!

I like the new Black Forest horses, but parts of them seem...glitchy/unpolished? The back legs look pinched when they bend when moving at all and the mane clips through the body and saddle and player when cantering or galloping. Maybe it's just silly nitpicking on my part, but yeah-

Them removing the sell a horse action out of the blue felt like a dream for me tbh. I know it's irrational because I literally don't interact with anyone while playing the game, so the odds of someone wanting to hack into my account are low and my family would never even THINK about doing it as a prank, but I always had this underlying anxiety about what if one day I logged on and all my horses were gone. Knowing that that'll never happen just felt like a weight off my shoulders.

Probably a sign that I'm WAYYY too invested in this game lol

I also think a hide feature kinda feels better because if I had a shilling for every time I heard an older player say that they sold their g1 or g2 horse years ago but they now they regret that, I'd probably have 10,000. I'd have more but yah know. Shillings cap.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that a hide feature feels like making a sell feature that feels less final. I never thought the 2k shillings you get from selling a horse was worth the irl money you paid for it anyway
