Damn. Can't this guy give the fans even a tiny window of hope? Maybe Nintendo will pass the game on to a developer with some ambition and a better attitude.
A very well-made video, with an interesting subject related to video game addiction. The thing is, I've seen or read a few things regarding this topic, an they always end by quitting the game entirely and encouraging others to do so. Why not spread the message to play responsibly instead?
I liked this game, but who on earth would claim it was the game of the year? How can they slap that on the cover and not get fined? Dead Island was only game of the year in the sense that it's a game, and 2011 is a year.
I'd like to see the entire manual. Sounds like a gaming utopia.
Check out this ridiculous list of over 250 games with zombie in the title on the apple app store. This is as much of an epidemic as an actual zombie infection.
Sony confirmed the PS1 classic will be available for download in the PS3's online store, but news of a canceled sequel manages to ruin the cheer for me.
Why anyone would want this cross-promotion, i haven't a clue. Both games are cool enough, even though I'm not caught up on either of them, but let them be themselves!
I'll probably end up playing 90% of this list. I'm so starved for good JRPG's! I'll even knowingly play FFXIII, having heard it's pretty bad.
This video is great, parodying the iconic minimalist art style of the indie hit, Limbo.
I'm not the biggest fan of IGN's Daemon (he's always too happy!!) but I've never seen him funnier, and more importantly, more correct. Seriously fan boys, if a critic doesn't like what you like, stfu. Why are people so afraid of differences of opinion? I don't think I've ever seen a respectable counter-argument... just expletive-riddled, misspelled trash. Oh, Internet, you're great. Keep it up.
I didn't see this coming at all! I was sure we've already seen the big 3 competitors for the foreseeable future. It makes sense, though. Xbox came out of nowhere to eventual popularity and success.
Justin Bieber was upset by the announcement of a mobile game called Joustin' Beaver? Haha... this is a pretty funny read. The goal of the game is keep paparazi from taking photographs, while signing otter-graphs for your fans. Absurd.
I loved Telltale Game's work on Tales of Monkey Island and I've got my eye on their Back to the Future games, so this news caught my attention. It looks to draw more inspiration from the Walking Dead comic as opposed to the TV show, but I have plans to get all caught up on the comic anyway. And if you aren't watching the show... you should be! It's awesome.
"Violent video games contribute to some of our societal problems like obesity and bullying, but because they raise a lot of revenue, they can also provide part of the solution." Meh. I don't believe video games are any more to blame for societal problems than any other form of violent media, but I'm not totally opposed to something along these lines (as long as it's the predicted 50 cents for a 50 dollar game. ) The guy who proposed this must not like violent video games, but I found it funny and ironic that his name is William Fourkiller. That's a violent name =P
I need this! Apparently you need to spend Nintendo coins to get it. Can't I just pay money???
This game enthusiast is on a quest to design 300 original gameplay mechanics. He currently has 153 towards his goal, and some are really creative! You've got to check out his idea, Pellet Quest, in particular.
