Its like 2 and a half hours and almost but not quite 11 years since you passed dad. I remember the feeling, the shock my hear felt. What happened? What woke me? I checked my phone! No text message back from my last sent text message. And back to sleep. It's was frightening and lonesome.

I did what I thought you would want me to do. Minus the not answering the door to be reminded what I knew had happened. You were gone and I had a meeting to attend or an obligation to be kept.

I should have come to see you one more time! But I was in love! Scared and dealing with the depression and fighting my impulse. It coincided and happened concurrently.

I still cry reflecting and the time we missed out on. I put those "dad tunes" on and focus on what you had and what I have to deal with. Nothing anger but as a challenge.

RIP boss! RIP dad we miss you Clay! I miss ya too pops!
