{ 真実 } Naegi laughed once again, still somewhat hesitant but starting to loosen up a little. Oh, if only she knew how ridiculous his luck could be at times. Currently, the record stood at the long line of events that led to him being selected as the Ultimate Good Luck - and that all happened in one day. Whoops.

“That’s just the tip of the iceberg, but yes.” Hm, did this little familiar like pets? He held up a finger to it, testing out with a small stroke to the ears. “For example, the one time I decide to take the long way home, I lose to a game of rock-paper-scissors, spill out all the drinks I had bought because I lost, nearly got run over by a bus as I tried to return someone’s phone - but hey, I caught a jewelry robber in the process, I guess? I never want to experience something like that ever again though - that was terrifying.”

“As for your question, miss - it’s possible. However, I’ve heard those students have to pay a lot of money to get in, and then they’re held in a separate track from the rest. The Reserve Course - I don’t think they like me very much.” He was just an ordinary kid like them; he didn’t feel like he deserved to be in the Main Course any more than they did, and he sympathized with them. But they probably didn’t feel the same.

Kiko did in fact enjoy being petted. As the fox soon as started squealing and squirming upon being touched. Causing even more sparkles to appear and scatter across Naegi’s hoodie. He was going to be a full on sparkling egg by the time they parted. Ahri only felt a little bad! 

And then hearing about his “luck”. It had a really weird balance to it. Nothing she could really understand, but oh well! It’s not like it was any of her business.Even so.. he was so.. small and fragile-looking! Did he really catch a robber? It isn’t as terrifying as it is to her, though. As a star guardian, she really wasn’t afraid as much, really.

❛   A reserve course? Well I suppose those kids should be grateful to get in a good place even without a talent. They really can’t complain, hm? If they wanna be good at sometime, then just try and do so.  ❜

The fox looked up towards the sky. It was slowly starting to get dark out - which is around the time Ahri did her little patrolling. She wondered if his luck could do anything with her scouting and getting things done. There was a certain void creature that had been avoiding her - and it was causing trouble.

“Yes, I know what we are,” Sarah replied tersely, shrugging her shoulders. What was she going to do, lecture her fearless leader?

“And I also happen to be one of the best among us at killing baddies, so you don’t need to be so jumpy about them attacking. If they show up, we kill them, simple as that. Now come on, I’ll get you a tea or something.”

Ahri gasped in mock offense. Did Sarah really just say SHE was the best? They were gonna have a fun game later with void creatures and showing each other up, that was for certain. Ahri played to win and hated people doubting her.

She purred happily, tagging along with her star sister. When they had gotten to the cafe, she stood in line, huffing at the people in front of them. She HATED waiting! Some people just took too long deciding on their orders or didn’t know what they wanted.

{ 真実 } It looks like there’s a holdover from his middle school days - animals seemed to take a liking to him. That being said, he’s not sure if he’s going to appreciate all those sparkles on his coat…but oh well, not like he could do anything about it now. Naegi then took one of his candies out of his pocket, handing it to the small familiar. Up close it really did look like one of those tiny plush toys, but it was way too lifelike to be one. Oy vey.

“I guess so. My luck is definitely not the best, but then again, I’m kind of grateful for it. If I can have bad days with it, my senior probably has even worse days.” There was something off about Komaeda, to which the thought made him shudder. That small smile appeared again on his face soon enough though.

“Thanks for the encouragement. I’ll try to do my best, although I can’t say that’ll do anything to my height.” How embarrassing that his younger sister was now taller than him.

Kiko squealed excitedly, taking the candies happily and munching on it. Naegi just made a friend with the familiar, who was going to always greet and try to get sweets from him now. Usually, if one made friends with Kiko, it was a good note with Ahri. Her little familiar had feelings to and she’d hate to hurt them! 

So, two people had the same talent? Well, that seemed possible. She didn’t understand why it was such an ULTIMATE thing, though. Ahri had her own ultimate, spirit dash. It  was useful and she was the only one could use it - although she didn’t think those two ultimates meant the SAME THING. Probably not! 

❛   So, like. Bad things happen and then something by complete and utter chance happes and you get more then what you bargained for?  Like a soda machine takes your money but then the moment you walk away you get five or whatever cans popping out of the machine.   ❜

That was an odd way of putting it, but she figured it would do. 

❛   Is it possible for those talent-less students to get in this school? I might try to enroll to see what the big whoop is.~   ❜

She wouldn't exactly do such a thing, but being a gumiho with a very useful charm ability had it’s perks. There was never a need to “sneak” past anything if she wanted to get somewhere.
