Grimwalker lore 👁️ for upcoming fanfic

Grimwalkers used to be heavily discriminated against. Often times hate crimed and were even banned from establishments.

Their only identifiable feature is the color of their eyes so people would often check others eyes.

Grimwalkers are now thought to be a scarytale/myth. Just something that people would just use to scare others at slumber party and things like that.

Barely any of the previous golden guards found out that they were Grimwalkers until after death. So that’s not really why they were killed.

Grimwalkers can’t walk or talk when they first crawl out of the soil so they must be taught. They do learn really quickly however. At most it’ll take a month to catch up to speed with others their age.

They can’t be older than the person they’re cloned from. So if the “original” died at age 6, none can be older than that. They can be younger though.

When they’re born they must climb out of the soil themselves. If they’re helped, they’ll die the moment they get out. If a grimwalker isn’t fast enough they’ll suffocate. Usually that means they weren’t made properly.

If they’re planted too close to the surface, they’ll come out premature and fall apart.

Sometimes the ingredients just won’t fuse together and they’ll never emerge. This just means you did something wrong while trying to create them.

You just have to bury the materials underground and a grimwalker should begin to grow.

It might take a while for them to emerge because they have to grow. But while they’re in the ground, they’ll grow a lot quicker.

They will always have the same voice, hair color, and nose but that’s it. Hair length, style, laugh, personality, chin, face, and weight could all vary. It’s rare for the clones to look the exact same as the person they were cloned from.
