Native New Orleanian Ashley Teamer works in a number of artistic disciplines, including painting, sculpture, installation and video. Her show Booty Galaxy is currently on display at the Joan Mitchell Studios, located at 1000 N. Rampart and will be on view through the remainder of May 2014.

US Senators Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) and Ed Markey (D-MA) and Representative Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) have introduced a bill that would give visual artists royalties on the resale of their work, or droit de suite, Congress announced this afternoon.
