Sleeping Swan AU:

Emma and Aurora meet at a party and end up in bed together.

Emma frowned at her mattress, having been awoken by a weight in the bed moving, “What are you doing?” she said when she saw Aurora, the woman she had met at the party and then had glorious sex with, putting on her clothes.

Aurora turned to face her, looking guilty, “I am sorry, I did not mean to wake you, I just thought that you’d want me gone so I- hm.”

Emma reached out to her, “Stay, come on, you can stay the night, I’ll make your breakfast.”

She turned on the bed, getting ready to fall back to sleep when Aurora spoke again, “you wouldn’t have something for me to wear? I get cold at night.”

She wanted to groan but the cute Irish accent that had won her over last night worked its miracle again at-3am her alarm clock answered. “Check my dresser over there, the second drawer has some comfy stuff.” She unhelpfully pointed at the approximate direction of the dresser, and watched Aurora search through it before finding an oversized shirt in it.

"This okay?" she asked, sounding unsure and needing reassurance, she was probably unused to after-sex sleeping arrangement, Emma thought.

Emma smiled and answered truthfully, “You look adorable. Now get in bed, I’m cold”.

She held the covers open for the younger woman, and after she had settled down, shifted closer to spread her arm over her back, making sure she would be staying until the morning.
