Robin buys a vintage lamp off Marketplace, and the seller, Chrissy, says that she's sending her friend Eddie to deliver it. This instantly makes Robin too nervous to go pick it up herself, so naturally, she sends Steve to collect it.

Steve returns home after two hours looking like a hot mess, hair all fucked up and shirt totally wrinkled. Robin is freaking out, asking what took so long, why hasn't he been answering his phone, and Steve just shrugs and says "Sorry, the guy who dropped off the lamp was hot. We fooled around in the back of his van and we're going out this weekend."

He hands Robin the lamp as she stands there, completely baffled, and says "Could have been you if you and Chrissy weren't scaredy-cats," before heading off to his room.

Last Meals.

The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Jennifer Hudson Show, and The Drew Barrymore Show.

Expensive Taste Test.

Phoning It In.

He explores ASMR.

And he even becomes a guest judge on Drag Race.

Steve Harrington is with him through all of this.

Making sure an antacid and lactaid are ready for a tummy full of spice and dairy.

Making sure there’s a hug waiting after some talk of the more personal stuff.

Getting to meet some amazing women backstage.

Being the off screen expert of taste.

Laughing his ass off when the prank phone calls become unhinged.

Thinking it’s cute that there wasn’t any soft spoken words or quiet triggers to be seen.

And getting an opportunity to participate in the comedy/acting challenge that week, with some amazing drag artists.

Eddie could take or leave this part of fame, he just wants to talk about his music at the end of the day.

Steve could take or leave this part of Eddie’s fame, he just wants to be there through it all.

Together they can and will.

steddie being Platonic Besties. steve gets it in his head that he needs to learn how to braid hair for his next gf and eddie is clearly the perfect model for him to practice on (steve refuses to admit that he just wants an excuse to touch those pretty pretty curls that he can't stop noticing lately). eddie, who's been secretly in love with his straight boy best friend for ages now, is suddenly in a whirlwind of heaven-hell where everytime they hang out, eddie ends up sitting on the floor in between steve's legs while steve plays with his hair. it only takes a couple attempts before "learning to braid hair" turns into massaging eddie's head and playing with his curls and steve gently scratching his short nails along eddie's scalp. eddie manages it for a few weeks until one night he's had one too many beers and a couple too many tokes and finds himself melting into steve and moaning softly as the man pets his hair. he doesn't even realize he's pitching a tent until steve laughs, soft and equally as cross-faded, and mumbles "want me to take care of that too after i'm done with your hair?"

This was my piece for the Steddie Freaks and Fables zine awhile back! Unfortunately that was back when I was really sick and wasn't able to promote it properly. It was wonderful experience and the first zine I was ever apart of! We love a zombie AU~
