Hi there!  Welcome to my Clark Kent rp blog.  You can call me Annika. I am highly selective, 21+, mutuals only and often times run on a queue. IMs are always open for chatting and plotting while ASKS are open for memes (mutuals and non mutuals alike).  

Before I follow new people back, I like to peruse their blog to see if our muses will click.  I try and do this at least once a day. 

Asks are the best way to start interactions with me. 

Just a friendly note that I am primarily SMALLVILLE based with my interpretation of Clark. But he will also be influenced by comics and headcanons. I have not seen any of the Justice League films or SM movies. So, my references are lacking.

SILENCE   FELL   AS   BRUCE   DID   NOT   ANSWER   THE   OTHER   MAN   at   least   not   right   away,   nothing   more   than   a   slight   grunt   escaping   him.   his   fingers   grasping   at   the   edge   before   he   was   draping   his   arm   over   his   leg   and   looking   over   towards   the   man   coined   superman   these   days.   he   and   clark   knew   each   other   sort   of   he   supposed.   friend   seemed   too   strong   a   word   to   bruce   honestly.   

“i   do,   that’s   why   you’re   here.   you’re   the   hidden   move.”   he   spoke   as   he   pressed   his   lips   together   and   then   glanced   at   his   lenses   getting   a   reading   before   his   head   turned.   “you’ll   get   me   in   a   lot   faster,   stealth   isn’t   needed   this   time.”   

BROWS PUSH UP, CURIOSITY FLICKERING ACROSS the Kryptonian’s face as he studied Bruce in his Batman costume. It seemed to have a lot of bells and whistles. More so than Oliver. But hey, props to the every day man who wanted to be a hero. You didn’t need super powers to make a difference.

“So what? You called me here just to give you a lift?” Amusement tickled his features and hid his disappointment well. Superman reduced to a taxi service? While he was always willing to help, Clark had a lot more to offer than just his quick speed.

“Anything else you want me to do?”

HER   HEAD   TILTED   AS   SHE   NARROWED   HER   GAZE   ON   HIM   and   then   crossed   her   arms   as   the   corner   of   her   mouth   twitched   into   a   smirk   she   could   not   quite   help   as   she   looked   him   over.   her   shoulders   gave   a   casual   shrug   in   a   manner   that   could   not   be   helped.   “why   would   i   be   here   other   then   following   the   story.”   she   toyed   before   she   reached   out   and   patted   his   chest   in   a   casual   manner.   

“consider   me   the   best   thing   to   happen   to   this   case,   i’m   helping   you.   figured   you   could   use   it.”   she   toyed   as   she   turned   to   look   behind   her   and   relaxed   a   bit.   “so   tell   me   what   you’ve   got   so   far.”   lois   spoke   as   she   stepped   back   and   looked   about.

SHOULDERS SLUMPED SLIGHTLY AS CLARK SIGHED. “Don’t you have your own story to chase?” Lips curled into a slight smile as he shook his head. “I thought we agreed we’d each cover our own stories and then help out if the other asked for it?” A brow arched as he stared down at her. Honestly, it was very difficult to say no to Lois when she looked at him like that. Clark scowled.

“Fine. You can come. I was about to interrupt an argument and confront one of the shop keepers about their dealings with an arm’s trafficking ring. Figured I could catch them in the act.”

❛ yeah, right, the alcohol. ❜ that was the sole reason she had said those things at the toast and then returned to more drinking as if being at her cousin’s engagement party was worse than farm chores she never did when living with the kents.  ❛ oh please, jimmy can’t even tie his own shoes without chloe and i’m her cousin. her favourite only cousin, she practically signed a contract where she can’t take anything i say serious. ❜  besides, it wasn’t like chloe didn’t know lois enough to know she could never control what she said. she stood there for a couple of seconds and then grasped on his arm a bit too tight, eyes widening.  ❛ i promised her i would help with a dress fitting. what time is it, smallville? ❜

EXPRESSION WAS SLLIHGTLY DUBIOUS. While he may not understand the sister like bond the pair had, Clark had known Chloe for a very long times. And while, in the end, she might brush of Lois’ comments, in the moment, it didn’t seem to be going over very well. So he offered a sympathetic smile.

“Uh, it’s 2:30pm. What time is the fitting?” Clark was already brace himself to play hero and help Lois get there one time.

CLAKR WAS USED TO BEING THE ONE TO come up with all of the tricks. It was rare he was surprised by anything. But watching Vision shift from red to white was...jarring.

“Huh,” the reporter said. Yeah, things might be easier now. 

Continuing on with his mission, walking to investigate a story, Clark spared Vision a glance. “Why are you here, anyway?”

Diana hovers a little, keeping a small distance to make sure she’s there if he needs her help again. There’s concern written all over her face, but she nods once, a small smile to match his. ❝ No need to thank me, Clark. ❞ She tilts her head to the side a little, looking at the kryptonite she had yet to dispose, which sat within a considerable distance from them. ❝ That seems to be very dangerous, are you sure there is nothing out there to protect you from the powers of it? ❞

A HUMOROURS LAUGH PARTED HIS LIPS AS Clark shook his head. “The only way to protect me from Kryptonite is to not be anywhere near it. The irony is, that used to be apart of my planet, before it blew up. Go figure it’d be my one and only weakness.” Aside from his family and those that he loved. ‘Honestly, I’m fine. The further away it is from me, the better I feel. Back to the Man of Steel.” The hero flashed her a brilliant grin.

Gamora grunted softly as she was placed onto the couch, watching him as he suddenly took off with such speed before coming back, her eyes never leaving him as he began to tend to her various wounds on her frame from the various experiments done on her. ‘ You can say that I suppose….I’m from another galaxy I’ve came to earth in order to find a new meaning, I always believed earth welcomed outsiders who weren’t well a threat, I was looking for the team that protected this city when I got captured…and then you came along…perhaps there is some good still in this world for different people like myself I mean.’ Gamora looked at him as he gave her his name, this caused her to smile abit looking down bashfully. ‘ Gamora…my name is Gamora.’

FEATURES WERE PINCHED DOWN IN CONCENTRATION as Clark tended to her wounds. Gamora, the alien from another galaxy, had many and they were deep. But some were just surface wounds. He wondered if they were scraping for skin and cell cultures. Not that he would ever condone such a thing.

“It’s nice to meet you, Gamora.” Clark flashed her one of his charming smiles before he returned to his work. “I’m from another galaxy too. A place called Krypton. Have you heard of it?” It was as much for her benefit as it was his, Clark desperately hoping that maybe she’d heard of his homeowold before.

Rolling back on his heels, Clark looked over his handy work. “I’ve done what I could. We do have a doctor who specializes in alien physiology. He might be able to help you. And I promise, Earth is a good place. A lot of the people are good. But there are some that are bad.”

CLARK GAVE A NERVOUS LAUGH AS HE LOOKED AT KORI. “Trust me. I’ve done this song and dance before. Every time I get my wish, it only blows up in my face or makes me look like a fool. I’ve learned my lesson.” And yet, Clark can’t help the words that lay on his tongue, wanting to temp fate again.

FEATURES TURN AWAY, GUILT BUBBLING TO THE SURFACE. Lying to Lois was not something Clark was proud of. He hated it. And yet, here he was, caught like a child with their hand in the cookie jar. After everything he and Lois had been through and he reduced her to this.

“Do you trust me?” He said, gripping her hands lightly, staring into her eyes. “Just let me do this and I will tell you all about it when I get back.”
