#MY BOSS WHO STOLE THAT CAR AND HAD A MULTITUDE OF LAST STRIKES AND WAS INVESTIGATED FOR HARASSMENT AGAINST ME #went on a 1.5 week vacation and then suspiciously wasn’t on the new schedule. and then texts the gc at 7pm to tell us he #’got another job offer’ and ‘handed in his 2 weeks’ and won’t be coming back from vacation 🤭🤭🤭🤭#and also his boss will be in the following day to ‘check up on us’ because that’s totally something a regional manager would do. lol.#I have a feeling his new boss who started a month ago got a list of crimes from the previous boss and decided this guy was a liability #and best time to let someone go is before they go on vacation so they don’t fuck with the workplace #GUYS WE DID IT. WOKE WON. ANOTHER CISHET WHITE MAN FIRED BECAUSE OF WOKE 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭#also the misogyny and harassment and texting us rude shit to our personal phones and stealing an employees car as a joke and giving his #phone number to young women and also using store credit card without documentation also he fucked with my paycheck and theb refused to fix #it and that got a LOT of eyes from hr on him which was probably a bad move on his part but he really wanted to ‘win’ by fucking with my #paycheck because everything he did was petty and shortsighted and a classic cishet man who’s never experienced consequences moment!#we popping the BIGGEST bottles!!!!!#and when he quits I won’t have to keep my harassment investigation secret and I can finally ask people what they told hr because I’m soooo #nosy and I wanna know sooooo bad what the final strike that did him in was #because there was. a lot. did I mention he stole an employees car last spring as a joke and gloated about how he couldn’t be fired #I remember! he even told customer’s about how no one cares and how he can’t be fired. well. just bc you didn’t get fired last spring #doesnt mean everyone forgot you STOLE YOUR SUBORDINATE’s CAR AS A FUCKING JOKE???? LIKE WHAT????#a day in the life of steeve #I was not the only one who had beef with him. but he fucjed with my payroll which got a lot of hr and bosses involved #so it truly was his own doing that did him in. bro dug his own grave and fell in it. now why would you fuck with someone’s payroll when #its all recorded and traceable AND OBJECTIVELY LOOKS SO BAD FOR YOU!!#and then it all snowballed. but the payroll issue that dragged on for 6 MONTHS GUYS is what really opened the door I think.#thank you my left shoulder for dislocating at work and getting this ball rolling ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️#without you I would’ve never gone on a medical leave and then had him sabotage my paychecks which then got hr and payroll and a lawyer #involved since he fucked with taxes and that’s the govmts money 🤭#i work in a restaurant btw. he did all this at the most unserious place. it’s a fucking chain restaurant bro.

UPDATE: we are having an emergency store meeting about his ‘little mess up from last week’ in an hour. ruh roh. sounds like HR got back from the weekend off and didn’t think felonies are a funny joke 🤭

UPDATE 2:

boss told all of us (the 6 of us who showed up to this 7 pm meeting) how he was just joking around and how at every job he’s ever had they’d steal each others cars as a joke alllll the time (BRO WHAT?) so that’s why he thought it was ok and that woe is me he didn’t think she would take it so seriously because she chuckled and walked out after he told her he had driven her car away as an April fool’s joke and he didn’t think she would report him over it !!!!!! 🤧😢 but he apologized and it’s allllll coool now. allll good. she sees now it was funny actually. but she IS quitting.

“we like to have fun here. We have a fun and playful atmosphere and we like to keep it lax and don’t want anyone getting write ups now do we? <definitely not a threat 😄 so everyone say you feel safe and happy here right? Right? Right? I’ll tell my boss everything is cool and that everyone is happy and that this meeting went well!”

but the aforementioned coworker DID quit over it and report him is the thing. And he DID steal her car and drive it to another parking lot. And told EVERYONE. including customers. About his funny car stealing prank. That he did. On camera. when he went into the back and got her purse. And fished out her keys. And went outside and unlocked her brand new car. And got in. And drove it away. And parked it in ANOTHER parking lot. And then went back in. And put her keys in her bag. And let her work the rest of her shift. And then let her freak out when she clocked out to leave and saw her car was gone. And then told her someone must’ve stolen it. And then let her think someone stole her brand new car. And then finally told her that he had ‘just moved it to another parking lot’. As an April fools joke. That he, a 45 year old manager, played on his 20 year old minimum wage employee. While she was up front. Working. And he was outside. Stealing her car. As a joke.

#for reference I work in a fucking coffee shop.#this meeting happened bc I emailed the big boss (my boss’s boss) (very serious man who seems to take concerns very seriously)#at 230 asking if we can get locks bc our boss STOLE SOMEONES CAR (I wasn’t sure if he knew bc coworker only called HR and we all know HR)#and he responded back at 3:30 assuring me he was investigating it and taking my safety concerns seriously.#and at 3:35 our boss started blowing up the work chat (I’m not in it lol) about needing to have this emergency meeting. so suffice to say.#big boss must’ve not known he did that and he must be in some hot water for STEALING A FUCKING CAR.#hopefully he gets fucking fired. or at least transferred.
