          she always seems to forget the strength she has. poor mabel is still recovering from that too rough punch to the face. but that’s how she showed affection. a clap on the shoulder, or a punch in the arm. sometimes, a bone crushing hug. the intentions behind it were pure.

i headcanon that doris and the dragon could be best friends because they’re both different and they’re both badass. idk i just really like the idea of them being friends because you can be friends with a dragon okay.

doris, as we all know, has a very tough exterior. she’s a badass obviously, but she’s also a very sensitive flower on the inside. she has feelings, and everytime she hears the title ugly step sister, it hurts her a little more each time. she knows that’s what she’s labeled for life, and she’s trying to accept that but it’s extremely difficult. all she wants is to be considered beautiful, just like her friends.
