i had the best human interaction of all time last night. i was sitting at a bar eating an appetizer and this guy comes up to order a drink and stares at my food and comments how good it looks. when i am drunk i use the word bitch like it is a comma, i plug it into any space in a sentence possible. so naturally the first thing i say to this stranger is, “go ahead and take one, bitch.”

he looks SO shocked and taken aback and goes “what did you just say? how do you know my name?” so i sit there for a moment trying to figure out what the fuck he is talking about, and then go, “…. bitch?” and he looks so relieved and tells me his name is mitch.

i cannot stop thinking about this. oh my god. imagine going into a bar and someone you know for a fact youve never met approaches you and says “go ahead and take one, mitch.” im cracking the fuck up. he looked like he thought this was the fucking truman show

Petition for the acception that men can feel to

It’s holiday season. Everyone’s excited to get with their families and share love and gifts. But we don’t realize that there are those who don’t have a family to share with. With holiday spirit comes holiday depression and this years dose has made the people in my town fully realize something. Men can feel to. There have been 4 suicides that I can recall this past month and all of them were men/young adults. My town is the type to believe that “well they should’ve said something” or “should’ve manned up and took care of things.” This is wrong. Men can feel to.

Do you have any Harry Osborn headcanons?

Harry Osborn is definitely pretty much a Sugar Daddy™ lets be real

He’ll buy you anything you want and more.

You see something you like? He buys it. He thinks you’ll like something? He buys it.

Literally this boi spends so much money on you, even when you insist he doesn’t need to.

He reassures you every time he buys something for you that he doesn’t mind spending money on you and actually likes being able to give you things.

He especially likes when he buys you jewellery or clothes and you wear it out and you (being the partner of Harry Osborn himself) get pictured wearing it by the paparazzi. It makes him feel super proud, it’s like a little secret both of you are in on, like you’re showing that you’re his and he’s yours.

He is absolute trash for you and everyone knows it, him included.

He’ll do pretty much anything you want, you have him wrapped around your finger

Harry will always demand respect for you.

As soon as someone disrespects you, you can bet your top dollar that they’ll be gone the next day.

He doesn’t care who it is, it could be the president for all he cared, he’d make sure they’d never say anything about you again

He has constant nightmares about you either dying or being too afraid of him to be with him.

Any head canons on why Levi hardly sleeps? Does he get nightmares? Is he too preoccupied to sleep? stuff like that.

I definitely think it’s a combination of nightmares and being distracted. Levi is a pretty busy guy and Isayama has even stated that majority of Levi’s job is paperwork.

But it’s the nightmares that keep him from having a full night’s worth of sleep. There’s only so much tossing and turning he can do before getting frustrated and moving to his armchair for a handful of hours.

I think his sleep would even itself out if he got a s/o or had someone there to help him through a restless night. I wrote something pretty similar here if you’re interested!

I think that ever since Isabel and farlans death it’s because of nightmares. And they’re not always nightmares of them. Sometimes it’s the original Levi squad members. Sometimes it hange and Erwin and Erwin and the rest of those he spends the most time with haunting him. Before the military I think he couldn’t sleep very well because of worrying. Not enough money. Not enough food. But it wasn’t as bad then.

the fact that community colleges are seen as less valid and for “stupid” people is a result of classism and in this essay I will-

ppl in the tags saying that it’s “genuinely a lesser tier of education because people go there for trades and nursing and thats about it” are just proving that its classism. bc a) no thats absolutely not correct. a good chunk of people that go to community colleges do so to knock out their gen eds at a lower price than they’d be if they went to a four year, then transfer to a four year. and more importantly b) trade professions are not lesser than other professions that take higher degrees. people who go into things that take associates degrees are not “stupid”.

if you think ppl who are too poor to attend a four year university for all four years, or that ppl who are too poor to/don’t want to get their bachelor’s/master’s/doctorate are “stupid” then i have news for you:

I got my associates degree at a community college FOR FREE

Let me be clear:

FOR FREE

and because of that associates degree, when I transferred to a 4 year university, they offered me scholarships.

If you apply for aid at your community college, they will help you. They will find a way. Because they want students of all sorts. That’s kind of the draw. They have veterans, moms going back to school, high schoolers getting early college credits, immigrants from all over the place just getting started on their education, and they deserve to be taken seriously.

Those last two years of my college education cost me some, but I got my bachelors degree for at least half off because I did my first two years at a community college

My current semester at my community college is something about 2,000 dollars right now. But I’d rather go there than uni to get my first degree because I get more one on one with my teachers.
