The “nothing to do with it” claim just died.

Newly released logs of direct phone calls between Joe Biden and Jack Smith show the former president was deeply involved in the prosecutions against President Trump. A source inside the Justice Department put it bluntly: “Biden was clearly calling the shots and driving the investigation. Smith was nothing but a puppet.”

Merrick Garland was also on most of the calls.

“The entire prosecution was scripted.”

The man who spent years insisting he had zero involvement was on the phone directing the very cases he claimed to know nothing about.

On June 10, 1613, Johann Georg II was born in the city of Dresden, then part of the Electorate of Saxony. He would later become Elector of Saxony, ruling from 1656 until his death in 1680.

Johann Georg II inherited a state still recovering from the devastation of the Thirty Years' War.
