There’s a certain creativity and passion in the music made by people that don’t do that for a living that will always ensure a freshness factor in the shape of art to come. It is the case of the Paphos’ quartet DEMO that, aside from ranking high in the “Impossible to Google” chart, has the merit of crafting a dizzy dubful trip-hop and soaked in many other genres from song to song. In this track it’s the turn of rebetiko music with the legend Markos Vamvakaris, which song “Taksim Zeibekiko” has been sampled and rendered in here as it was composed by the bouzouki player himself while stoned.
