It was high time I finally made a post talking about my heroes in the world of Art (in no specific order).
Yoshitaka Amano - The main aspect which has always attracted me to Amanoâs pieces has always been the delicate elegance, wrapped up into a light trace lost in a fairy tale of pale colors. Youâd imagine this kind of Art featured in childrenâs books for how beautiful it is. Absolutely stunning.
Jamie Hewlett - Whatâs there to say? Anarchy in person! Solid beautiful colors, controversial subjects and a unique style known only to him, with stunning designs. A mixture of modern and past coated in English irony.
Milo Manara - If thereâs any Artist in the world one could credit as being responsible for the most beautiful erotica known to man, itâs Manara. Absolutely stunning elegance in his every trace, and a specific lust nobody else could dare try to recreate. Although strongly explicit, it maintains full dignity and elegance.
Nakamura Asumiko - Not only a stunning artist, but writer as well. Asumiko has one of the most original styles Iâve ever come across, her subjects being so beautiful itâs hard to consider them even human. It feels there is an entire universe inside of her head she attempts to show us.Â
Tove Jansson - Oh, Tove, we still owe you to this day. An adorable taste for life and perfect minimalism when needed, she captures her audience in a world made of flowers and clouds, poems and stories. There is a kind of message which can be appreciated by all ages.
Pragmaticinsanity - The very first time I laid eyes on this Artistâs dark work I remember my jaw dropping. It had some of the most intricate detail I had ever seen, and dragged me right into the intensity of its emotion. Served as great inspiration to continue my work, and I am immensely grateful to this day.
Glenn Fabry - Speaking of detail. There is just some kind of raw energy coming out of Fabryâs Art, a sort of ironic âFuck youâ, thick harsh lines underlining features Iâm sure most artists would never even think of, sarcastic and humorous.
