This was meant to be post on the 4th October. I was tired @,@;; Onward with the story!!! This time I have drawn another of my childhood bestfriend. Marie. We known each other around the same time as I known Izzati. I must say that I went through hella of a roller coaster with this one. But despite that all. She was my place if I wanted to feel all girly. Beside reading manga, watching anime and drawing. We both absolutely love going and pretty much go with the flow. We love...which I notice...love mall. We love checking out clothes, game shop, pet shop, book shop and we love our McD. Thank you for filling my life with laughter and adventure (and dramas). 3rd day of Inktober! This time a very quick sketch of my mother and myself when I was 8 years old. So here is the story about this drawing and why I seems ill in it. During this moment...I was announced by the Doctor that I had Terminal illness. Here is what it mean. "Terminal illness is an incurable disease that cannot be adequately treated and is reasonably expected to result in the death of the patient." Yes. I was dying. And I couldn't imagine what it was like for my mother to go through it. Seeing me all thin, bones and fragile. I just couldn't imagine it. There were few nights that I refused to sleep on my bed and ended up sleeping on my mother the whole night. Thank you mummy for loving me unconditionally and never giving up on me. Happy Birthday to my late Daddy. Another year, another birthday without you. There isn't a day that I don't think of you. There isn't a day I don't shed my tears for you. I miss my father, mentor, star and best friend. I miss you so much. My father showed the beauty and magic of life. I loved stars and arts because of him. We do a lot of hobbies together. Like photography. We debate on politics. We love discovery on history. And when we're bored. We take the train together and go where ever the train take us. We pretty much do everything together. Losing him made me lose myself as well. Apart of me died. And I have stop doing a lot of things that we did together. But this year I am slowly and struggling to get back at what we love to do. It isn't easy to do it without him. But I want to fight to do it because that's the only memories I have of him. I love you daddy. 1st day of Inktober! My theme is to draw people who means something to me. Doesn't matter if it a big or small impact in my life. Every each one of them who enter my life us something for me to be grafeful for. I have drawn me (on the right) and my childhood best friend. Who she made a huge impact in my life. We do a lot of hobbies together. Drawing, Writing, Voice dub, reading, blogging, Web design and etc. She was the one who introduced a lot of things to me and even encourage me to do it, to try it. If it was not for her...I would not have discovered so many things and made other wonderful friends around the world. And for that, she has made my childhood life very creative and colourful. Sailor Mars was my very first favourite Sailor Senshi and I still love her till this very day. And here a funny part. I wanted a background. Didn't had any idea. So I just drew a circle and started slapping red and purple into. Once I was done, then I just realised that I have somewhat drawn and paint what present the planet Mars. So I have Sailor Mars. Her favourite flower. Casablanca Lily. And the planet Mars. Another style that I don't normally do in my drawings. But at this point. My artblock was kicking in. And the best way to counter attack this is by looking through other people artworks and find something that will help you to do something outside your comfort zone. I enjoyed making this. Normally, I suck at colouring, adding background and adding props. But I tried and had lots of fun with it. While drawing I also realized that I don’t remember how to draw flowers so well anymore 😂

Somehow this whole drawing gave me the Kingdom Heart kinda vibes.

So I'm not the only person to get an alter ego. But my hair getting an alter ego as well! I have a thick hair and always told myself that my hair is a monster. Back when I was a kid. There was an old game where they had a female character with a monster hair. I was drawn to it. Many years later, one of my closest friend told me that my hair is a monster and had always imagine that my hair would eat him one day. And he named my hair....Medusa. At first I wanted to make Medusa a real monstrous hair. But since this is the beginning of Medusa as my oc character. I decided to give her this expressions that she is cute and a happy go lucky monster. A child. My hand were dancing tonight. My intention was just to simply practise. But as I was going through the internet for inspiration. My husband told me to draw Chandra. And that got me wanting to draw Pia (Chandra's mother). What made me happy was that, I drew this with ease, in a peace of mind. I didn't felt the struggle to draw, wanting to draw.
