amazing user okiroash, have you any tips for picking out colors and shading? i long for the fun coloring youve got but lately im struggling with the “artist just makes shading color slightly darker” phenomenon i fear. have a good day🩷🩷🩷youre an inspiration to many!

Oh wow!! this is so kind thank you,,.. 🥺 I admit!! The way I draw isn't consistent so when I saw this ask I was stumped on how to answer at all... but I think I managed to put something comprehensible

you might be thinking "huh? this doesn't really point out much..." and well..! 💨 This is a method that depends on your own eyes' judgement and personal taste! There is no proper guide as It will always differ depending on the kind of art you want to present. I believe with thorough experimenting of what I have shown is a good way to get used to!

The way I shade isn't anything of interest,, as I rely a lot more on textures to bring out the flavor! But lately I've been enjoying adding tints of colors to make it look like a gradient, then combining it with cel-shading is super fun
