This single detail is the reason why I don’t feel anything regarding the ending anymore. And it’s crazy cause we were so focused on who Ichigo and Rukia married that we all forgot about this very important detail

Ichigo dated, married and even had a kid with Inoue. Did Yhwach ever came back during these moments? Moments that were supposed to be the happiest moments of his life? No. Same thing for Rukia.

Chad became a boxer, his promise to his grandpa? To the trash. Uryu became a doctor, the very thing he despised, and will never be able to realize his grandpa’s dream of a coexistence between shinigamis and quincies, cause his entire race has been annihilated. Inoue had to drop out of college and the only reason her and Ichigo became a thing is bc Renji pushed him to date her. Wow great. Rukia is not a Kuchiki anymore. Renji has been unreciprocated as well through the whole manga. And Ichigo? Condemned to live a mundane life as a boring translator with someone he’s not happy with.

So yes IH and RR happened, but trust me, they’re not happy. Nobody in the gang is truly happy. And yk what the gag is? Yhwach comes back when Ichigo and Rukia start arguing again.

So now stop wasting your time with antis with big ass paragraphs. If you do, just use what you know now. If they still find a way to argue about this? They’re just delusional and don’t wanna see the truth about their so-called “happy ending” So take a deep breath, let that sink in, and find the peace you never got since 2016❤️

Inuyasha's love confession to his beloved Kikyo unfortunately before she died.

27 January is "Propose Day".

The day originates from the fact that the first marriage announcement was published in a newspaper in Japan on this day in 1883.

The famous page anime.jp usually does a poll based on this day, specifically on the "best love proposals/confessions in anime"

In the 2025 issue InuYasha was one of the top ten most voted (9). or place), we talk about chapter 8 of ”InuYasha: The final act called“ «Among the bright stars» that marks the death of Kikyo and where Inuyasha points out her as the first woman he has loved in his life, giving us one of the most emotional and at the same time romantic moments of the anime.

It can be clear that from InuYasha, it is the only confession of love that appears in the ranking and voting, so it makes it even more special.
