Are you reading any of the DC Absolute books? I need to catch up on them but the best of the bunch are definitely Batman, Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter.

I haven't... I'm a fake DC fan lmao I used to read SO MUCH Batman during New 52 era but really fell behind with it after I graduated college. I have a friend who reads it and keeps me in the loop tho. Mostly about the designs because the Absolute Batman designs r so good.

What are your thoughts on all the RWBY x DC crossovers? Despite being a DC fan, I couldn't get into the crossover comics. The movies were the best thing to come from the crossovers but even then I'd give the films 5 out of 10.

I couldn't really get into the comics either. The only ones I read were the ones related to Batman. As for the movies, I enjoyed them but not really enough to revisit them as much as I do with the mainline series. I think my biggest critique of them is rather than doing the age down/ age up thing with the Justice League and team RWBY I wish they would have just used Teen Titans instead. I understand they went with JL because they're more popular but I think tone wise it would have worked better with TT. There could have been character arcs that made a little more sense because they all would have been the same level of maturity. They could have had a lot of similar character pairings. Like Starfire with Blake/Yang instead of WW. Robin with Weiss, Super Boy with Ruby, etc. Like, could you imagine Damien Wayne Robin and Weiss trying to get along together?? I would have died to see that lmao
