Olin:

Olin felt like shit. He loved Rhett, he still does, and he never wanted them to ever end. There was something about Rhett that made Olin feel pure happiness. Seeing him was the highlight of his hour, day, week. He loved Rhett. He really did. So why did he fuck it all up? There wasn’t anything he could’ve done about Cadence. That’s just how he was towards him now. He couldn’t help the rude comments or the nasty expressions that contorted his face every time he sensed Cadence’s presence. Was that really enough to get dumped though? So, he didn’t get along with Rhett’s best friend. Things could be worse. He could still be taking pills. He quit those for Rhett, did he even understand that?

This was it, though. For the night, Olin was done moping. He had cried and curled up in a ball, and did the sad thing. He was over that now. The tears are gone, and he had already fucked any feelings he had for Rhett out of his head for the time; much thanks to Ria for that. She was a good friend, he thought, for having sex with him. He worried that maybe he had pushed it on her. They were both really high and he just went with what felt right. Hopefully it felt right for her too. He wanted to help her out too. Did it work?

Maybe it didn’t. Because when it was all said and done, Olin wasn’t any better. Not really. He tried really hard not to think of Rhett, and he failed, and then he tried, and he failed. Of all the negative emotions bubbling up inside him, he didn’t feel guilty for what had just happened with Ria. He shouldn’t feel bad for seeking comfort after being dumped by probably the most amazing boy that Olin had ever met. He shouldn’t feel bad for that, and he wouldn’t. Olin, however, felt extremely bad for what they had done not helping at all. He thought rebound sex was supposed to work?

A sigh of relief left Olin’s lips as Ria moved to kiss his neck. Maybe she’s up for another round, he thought, and stretched his neck to allow her more room. One time just wasn’t enough for him. He wanted to push Rhett out as far as he could.

There isn't really any point in going to GSA. I wanted to give it a shot, and then I really THOUGHT about it. I thought about all the people that were in there, and how they've all dated Avery, and I decided that I didn't want to be a part of the Avery Support Group. I don't want to go anymore. But I already told them I'd go. I already told Joshua I'd go too.

I almost kissed Joshua today. I don't know what's wrong with me. He's kind of involved in someone else, I think, but I don't know how well they're doing right now. Joshua's really mad at him. That still gives me no right to try and kiss him, though. I'm ashamed of myself. I think a lot about Joshua, and I feel guilty about that too. I'm not over Avery, I know this, and he likes someone else too. I wonder if I think about him all the time because I actually like him, or if I just need someone to be with me right now. I need to think a lot of things through...
