Hi! I’m essentially gonna be abandoning this blog, mostly because it’s now a graveyard of horribly embarrassing attempts to seek validation from people I thought I needed it from, and very little of it reflects anything about what I actually believe anymore. My teenage self was grossly misinformed about really, anything, and it’s very disappointing to see how easy it was for me to get swept up in politics that were being framed in a way that made sense at the time, when very little context was provided, and my brain was at the perfect stage to be molded to someone else’s beliefs. I don’t want to delete anything or attempt to hide anything, I just don’t really want to be tied to a blog that once so vehemently denied how much of an issue things like sexism, racism and anti LGBT+ discrimination truly was, in the name of being an edgy anti sjw. I can’t say I’m much happier in the world, having come to the understanding about how far we still have to go to achieve a better society - but I am happier to be on what I personally feel is the “right” side of things (which, incidentally, is very much to the left). Sorry boys! You’ve lost your resident whore.
