Throwback to this one. What a solid track.
Driftwood is quickly on the come up for good reason, his music is palpable. The way you can hear and experience his feelings and thoughts is impressive and definitely an overlooked aspect of modern music. "Broken" demonstrates Driftwood's songwriting ability as his heartfelt vocals grace the piano laden instrumental. I for one will 100% add this one to my playlists. Head over to his Spotify for more emotional music.
Mac Miller is undoubtably one of the greats. This track is radical and I could listen to it all day. RIP Miller.
Easily one of the best episodes of The Cave to date. Kenny Beats and Mac Demarco need a full blown project together.
“Funk U” is truth in advertising: WEISS and A-Trak moving your body with insane drums, an iconic sample, and decades of DJ expertise. Marking WEISS & A-Trak’s first official collaboration, the chopped-up, feel-good “Funk U” is a multi-generational joy explosion. Tune in to “Funk U” above now!
“Musicality wise, this track is my favorite that I’ve made yet. There’s this mulling, dreadful emotion that lingers throughout the entire track. This track paints the picture of the emotions you feel when you need to leave a part of you in the past because it doesn’t belong in the present. “ - Juuku
Love this one!
Might Delete Later is the new album from Chicago’s underground king, Chris Crack. Following a series of critically lauded and crazily prolific self-released projects, Might Delete Later marks Chris’ label debut and a bold creative leap forward, with fifteen must-rewind, “did he just say that?” cuts and indelible song titles. In-the-know fans and early adopters revere his gonzo humor (“one of rap’s merriest pranksters” - Vice) and twisted, melodic approach to hip-hop; Might Delete Later takes it to new heights and new audiences.
This one is a classic. No denying that.
Wow. Talk about a rad record. The drums to the vocal itself have me coming back again and again to this.
Wow. What a brilliant piece of music.
This album is radical. The progressions and songwriting specifically blew us away. I love the cadence and delivery of her vocals. Stream "Time Traveler" by Rei. No matter what form her music takes – advertising, songs, live performances – there’s a common theme of diversity and inclusion. “This is what I’ve learned about becoming an American. We’re a nation of immigrants with lots of different backgrounds, and too often, that causes conflict. But music makes us whole. It doesn’t matter what your color, your religion, or your country of origin might be. Music is our great equalizer and unifier. That’s what I’m hoping listeners will take away from my first album,” she says.
This tune is groovy as hell. Love it.
A true innovator of his time. Meet Monte.
Wow talk about a quality song. The jazzy progressions and robust vocal performance from Rei really set this record apart from the others. I absolutely love the cadence to the detailed stylings in her vocals. Lots to be excited about here.
This one is beautiful. JAWNZA is a new artist on the rise who deserve way more attention than they’re currently getting. Simply put, “Downtown” is a gorgeous single, check it out now.
Drex Carter’s latest drop “Tinted Love” is a song about a understandable topic that will resonate with both. The FL emcee goes in over the laid back G93 production and the end result will have you coming back for more and re-starting the song from the top.
Needed some energy in my life today and UZ helped me crank that all the way up. Turn up to “Trinity” above now!
