As many of you know, minors and supporters in kink have become an overarching problem here in the community. Tumblr has refused to take action on it by means of systematically ignoring our reports, and child pornography in the form of pictures of minors participating in kink (and sometimes actual pornography) has become the repulsive norm. It has turned NSFW and kinky/BDSM blogging into a minefield of potential minors and those who abuse children by supporting them in NSFW communities such as kink, BDSM, and porn blogging in general.

I have started a petition that calls for action on Tumblr’s part, both to keep NSFW bloggers safe and to keep kids out of NSFW communities.

The features include (explained in better detail in the petition):

Better Blocking - when you block someone, you will not see them either

Option to block all users who’s age is, going off of the one they input upon signup, anything under 18 years of age, and–

Better responsiveness to reports when it comes to children involving themselves in NSFW blogging.

More features have been requested in the petition, and I have outlined them clearly in the description when you follow the link.
