More info about the image: it was taken at the Theosophical Society's Krotona complex in the Hollywood Hills, which was built in 1919. Our mutual friend and filmmaker Tyler Hubby lived in the building after it had been converted into apartments and work spaces. It was a cold January day in Los Angeles, yet Marne insisted on shooting by the pool due to her intense fascination with water. Despite the chill, she enthusiastically posed in a skimpy dress and even took several shots in the water.

Since the tragic loss of our friend Masuimi Max, I've had many inquiries for prints. I've created a new series of eight 4x5-inch mini-prints to celebrate her legacy. I will donate proceeds to the Masuimi Max Memorial Fund which will support funeral and memorial expenses, assist in covering remaining housing expenses, aid in closing her beloved business, and settling any debts with her estate.
