From an evening drive through the Redwoods Been living in California for a few months now. Been a bit of a hectic grind so far but finally getting settled into life down here and getting excited for what lies ahead. Eager to get out and take more photos and videos soon https://www.instagram.com/p/CgaFVagv8hq/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Happy v day to this lovely gal :) so excited for what the future has in store for us! You are such a great friend and partner, I can't wait to continue sharing life with you and for all the adventures and memories we are going to make ❤ On that note - I know I've been pretty radio silent here lately, but I am very happy to announce that I recently accepted an offer to go work for a small company called Apple as a Technical Program Manager. This has been an incredibly hard process and decision, and it definitely will suck leaving all of the awesome people I work with now at Honeywell. It also means I will be moving to California in the near-ish future to start my journey with them (don't worry, I'll be back Washington ;) ). However, I'm super excited to have new places to explore, new things to learn, people to meet, things to do, and for all that this new move will bring with it! Here's to new adventures! https://www.instagram.com/p/CZ-vVz0FuJU/?utm_medium=tumblr

Throwback a few years to when I did a photoshoot with @noah.t.b and we basically just played around at a lake goofing around with fun photo ideas https://www.instagram.com/p/CWg93BivCiG/?utm_medium=tumblr
Warmth. I often forget just how cold it can be in the desert. Typically you don't associate deserts with cold temperatures but man, those early mornings can be brutally chilly out there. When the sun does rise, you're thankful for it, at least for a while, until it begins scorching you again.. https://www.instagram.com/p/CWT37CahS8f/?utm_medium=tumblr
I can't believe how lucky we got on the weather for this trip. I've been backpacking in Fall/Winter only a handful of times but generally it's wet, chilly, and often, snowy. This trip had practically none of that and I even got a bit of a sunburn in OCTOBER. Crazy. So thankful that I was able to get out for this one and knock it off the list before all of the rain (and snow) started slamming the NW. https://www.instagram.com/p/CWJbBlvhLU9/?utm_medium=tumblr
All this rain lately has me missing the sun, funny how that goes https://www.instagram.com/p/CV9TnfYlIi7/?utm_medium=tumblr
Better hope you're not claustrophobic https://www.instagram.com/p/CVBwEoeP7Ef/?utm_medium=tumblr
Fall is in full swing here in the NW. Honestly couldn't have asked for better conditions this past weekend up here for this trip, it was amazing to have such good weather and no snow this late in the season for the high alpine. Looking to get out here soon a few more times to catch the colors while they're here. Then once the weather turns I'll be hoping to finish up some personal projects I've been meaning to get done like my handheld stabilizer, assembling an F1 car I 3d printed a long time ago and working on a few other 3d printing and random projects around the house as well as some video projects I've started but haven't finished. Gonna be a great winter, excited to get to work. Also taking a Russian course with my Mom this fall/winter so that's fun. As incredible as this place is, the desert to me just feels like one of those places where there are still tons of hidden gems laying in wait off the beaten trail. I feel like with the right car and plenty of time, I could explore down this way for years and still find incredible new views. https://www.instagram.com/p/CUxsglvpmam/?utm_medium=tumblr
Been on a bit of a hiatus from posting on Instagram lately. Been focused on other stuff in my life, taking some time to work towards other things and generally just kinda slowing down as the fall rolls around. I had a jam packed summer like I hoped but it always takes a bit of a toll by the end so I'm glad for the break and respite. That said, the winter is the off-season for several of my hobbies, and that means it's about time to start training to improve and make strides during the downtime https://www.instagram.com/p/CUvL8bQv1EC/?utm_medium=tumblr

There's pretty much nothing better than the feeling of a summer sunset hike. I live for the incredible light and the perfect temps, being able to comfortably stand around in a t shirt at the top and kick back enjoying the view, and *maybe* toss on a light jacket for the trip back. Pretty tough to beat it https://www.instagram.com/p/CRzX_LcHW68/?utm_medium=tumblr
